THE CONTORTIONIST have announced a new batch of tour dates supporting NOTHING MORE early next year. The trek kicks off in Little Rock, Arkansas on Saturday, February 3rd at The Metroplex. The tour brings the band from coast to coast before wrapping up in Sacramento, California at the legendary Ace of Spades on Saturday, March 3rd.
Attention all ye people! GUS MCARTHUR, a hard rock/heavy metal outfit from San Diego, CA, is here to break all your Monday blues with their all new hard hitting music video, “End Of Eternity“. The band define themselves as a trans-dimensional being who transmits the music, style and imagery to the members of the band. Like wise, the music is “outta the world” too, dynamic riffing, pounding drums and an amalgamation of several musical genres which has thus resulted in the spawn of this space-time fabric ripper. Their songs and compositions are nothing but messages of this trans-dimensional obscurity known to us as GUS MCARTHUR. 2014 saw the formation of the band when two brothers Gordon “Gus the Hater” (lead vocals) and Sean Honan(guitar/vocals) decided to get along for a musical adventure; each from a different musical background. The two stood unhindered in making a perfect blend of their genres and influences, everything from the fastness of METALLICA, to the groove of rap metallers RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, to the vocal dexterity of QUEEN, and the lyrical geniosity of underground hip-hop. Now that’s some real good blending of ingredients from every spectrum of the musical palette!
In 2015, the band formed the complete line up when drummer Johnson “the Z” Zhang joined the brothers on board. There after they recorded and released their first EP, “Chapter 1: Hysterics“, in 2016, kicking off the legend of GUS MCARTHUR. The band’s aural assault is always evolving, combining their rock and metal inspirations with lyrical hip hop.
Heavy Metal icon OZZY OSBOURNE has announced a farewell tour beginning in May 2018 and running thru 2020. Osbourne‘s farewell tour will kick off with shows in Mexico, Chile, Argentina and Brazil. Those will be followed by a couple of early June dates in Russia before Ozzy embarks on on a month-long European leg, including appearances at most of the summer festivals. The beloved rock icon will subsequently headline a North American concert tour also starting in 2018.

If you don’t know them yet let me quickly introduce you to them. They started out with their 2012 EP ‘Murder’ which got followed up by the 2013 EP ‘Conjured’. But it doesn’t stop there, some time later they came together to create their first album called ‘Blind Until We Burn’ which is filled with distinct themes of horror defiance and horror laced hysteria. Next year Las Vegas Death Fest will roll into it’s tenth year of existence, and, shall celebrate a decade’s anniversary of punishing and relentless death metal. As Las Vegas Death Fest heads onto their remarkable feat of completing 10 years, they will host the most brutal bands from around the world and from the United States as well. It’s just been four months since the previous edition got over, and they’ve already let out next year’s epic line-up. And, holy cow, it’s massive! With a line-up as big as this, there’s little chance that people descending on the festival will have time left in their schedules to enjoy the city’s many great casinos for which it owes its fame. Perhaps they could check out the online casinos (click here to see one) from the comfort of their hotel rooms or homes after two days of heavy rocking.
With a plethora of utterly brutal and pulverizing death metal acts such as the likes of INCANTATION, DEVOURMENT, LITURGY, CEPHALIC CARNAGE, DEFEATED SANITY, MALIGNANCY, plus including even more than a whopping 40 number of death metal bands on the bill, Las Vegas Death Fest promises to bring another whirlwind of carnage, blood and destruction to the sin city. And since it’s the 10th anniversary of the reputed fest, the promoters have something cool riled up for the fans, in the form of a special surprise guest appearance, only to be seen at LVDF X!
Annihilator is one of those bands you have heard about one way or another. Debuting with legendary thrash album ‘Alice In Hell’ and continuing the rage with albums such as ‘Set The World On Fire’, ‘Refresh The Demon’ and latest record ‘Triple Heat’ is something only they can say. A long list of former members, different line-ups and even record labels doesn’t slow Annihilator down, they have worked with what they had and make the absolute best of it and they will continue to do so. American rock band POP EVIL have announced a brand new single and music video for a track called “Waking Lions” today, exclusively through VEVO. As previously heard on SiriusXM Octane channel, “Waking Lions” is the first bit of music we’re hearing from the band’s 5th studio album. “This is a Dawn of a New Day for Pop Evil,” says vocalist Leigh Kakaty. “The new lineup feels like a whole new chapter for us. We could not be more proud to lead off this new album cycle with Waking Lions, sending a positive message to our fans.”
Industrial metal godfathers GODFLESH are premiering a brand new track from their upcoming new album to be released on 17th November, 2017. The track premiered is the album’s eponymous title track, “Post Self“. Following up 2014’s “A World Lit Only by Fire”, “Post Self” will be released on Justin K. Broadrick’s own label Avalanche Records and will be the eight studio album from the Birmingham outfit.

US Doom super-group Vessel Of Light is the new collaboratory project born from the unlikely pairing of Dan Lorenzo (Hades, Non-Fiction, and The Cursed) and Nathan Opposition (Ancient VVisdom). Their debut 6-track EP releases this Friday 3rd November on Argonauta Records (pre-orders available here) and is a hauntingly atmospheric concoction of sludgy doom-rock, heavily laden with murderous lyrics and old-school hooks. They premiered their first single “Meant To Be” at the end of August (available now on iTunes) and have recently just released a lyric video to “Dead Flesh And Bones”, the second track taken from this most intriguing record.
