RAMMSTEIN Continue To Tease Two New Songs, ‘Radio’ and ‘Zeig Dich’

RAMMSTEIN are going strong with their teasing game for a couple of months now, much before the highly anticipated new album releasing on May 17 via UME/Spinefarm in Europe and Caroline Records in the United States. The new album whose title has still been kept under the rug successfully by the band seems to be the most anticipated album of 2019 already, with the rock world sitting on the edge of their seats. As we inch closer to the D-day, we are glad we’re getting more closer to what the new record would sound like. The band has been teasing new images from their video shoots almost every day, and today the band dropped two new teasers from songs titled, ‘Radio‘ and ‘Zeig Dich‘ (Translation: Show yourself’).

German Officials Accuse RAMMSTEIN For Going Too Far With ‘Holocaust’ Imagery In New Video

RAMMSTEIN and controversy are a no alien couple after all these years of explicit and shock rock performances. So much so that, even before the much anticipated new music video is out, the sword of controversy and allegations are looming on the band’s head. Despite the trailer having shown any direct explicit reference to the Holocaust, a number of public figures have already spoken out against the video. Talk about judging a book by its cover!

RAMMSTEIN Teases Short Clip From New Upcoming Video For Friday

2019 is just three months down and we already have great releases from metal’s top shots lined up the sleeve. Among the many dropping their new albums, probably the most anticipated one are from the big bad German boys in RAMMSTEIN. Till Lindemann and his troupe have been teasing us with photos and stills from the music videos they’ve been shooting, studio updates regarding the completion of mixing their new album which was back in January. I guess we can finally say we have some cloud drift off the suspense finally today. RAMMSTEIN today has posted a short teaser which I assume is from one of their new videos, which might drop this Friday, 28th of March, as it states in the video, titled, “XXVIII.III.MMXIX“. You can see the members standing on the gallows with the noose on their necks ready to be hanged, in the video.

STATIC-X Have Returned With New Album And World Tour

Static-X are reuniting with the original lineup to commemorate the 20 year anniversary of their successful debut album Wisconsin Death Trip. Bassist Tony Campos, guitarist Koichi Fukuda and drummer Ken Jay have teamed up again to release Project Regeneration, set to hit shelves and streaming services Spring 2019. The band has also planned a world tour to support the album and to honor their late frontman, Wayne Static, who passed away November 1, 2014. More information on the tour dates will be coming soon.

The band has compiled posthumous vocal performances and musical compositions that Static left behind. With help from long-time producer of Static X, Ulrich Wild, their seventh studio album will feature 12-15 brand new Static-X tracks.

Bassist Tony Campos explains, “With the 20th anniversary of Wisconsin Death Trip quickly approaching, it feels like the right time to pay our respects to the band, to Wayne, and to all the fans who have been with us right from the start.” says bassist Tony Campos. “We had a lot of material to work with… several demos that Wayne left behind, as well as some really great isolated vocal performances from some nearly finished songs. Together, we have been writing and crafting something very special!

You can check out teaser clips from a new music video, featuring brand new Static-X tracks, “Road To Hell”, “Something Of My Own”, “Terminator Oscillator”, “Hollow” and “Disco Otsego” – along with a personal message from bassist Tony Campos about the inspiration behind Project Regeneration now here. For the unfinished tracks, guest vocals will be laid down by friends of Static-X. This process is being brought together by Sirius XM pioneer Jose Mangin, who is also credited as an executive producer of the project.

Campos says, “We have confirmed interest from our friends David Draiman, Ivan Moody, Al Jorgensen, Dez Fafara, Edsel Dope, Burton C Bell, and a few others,” says Campos. “Unfortunately, due to everyone’s crazy schedules, it is a little early to know how things will shake out. We are more than confident that the album will have some incredible guest vocalists, but it should be noted that it is still too early to count anyone in 100%.

This is a celebration of STATIC-X, Wisconsin Death Trip, Wayne Static, and all of our fans,” adds Campos. “We are very excited about what we have created, so we wanted to involve the fans early, and in a campaign sort of way, so that they can participate with us and help to dictate some of the things that we do.

Preorders are available for Project Regeneration, which comes with their name appearing in liner notes of the new album. Other special preorder options include merch bundles and several old school Static X merch to celebrate the anniversary of Wisconsin Death Trip. Preorders are available here. Static-X also plan on doing multiple video updates via Facebook Live chats over the next few months to keep the fans involved and updated on the process. To keep up to date on Static-X and their return follow them on Facebook, Twitter, or their website.

SOCIETY 1 Release “It’s Yours Now” Music Video (Featuring Sin Quirin of MINISTRY)

Southern California Industrial Metal band SOCIETY 1 have released a brand new music video for the song “It’s Yours Now” which features Ministry guitarist Sin Quirin. The song is from the bands upcoming album ‘Rise From The Dead’ scheduled for release this March on DSN Music. The video was directed by vocalist Lord Zane. SOCIETY 1 was founded in 1996 by the infamous Lord Zane on lead vocals, also features veteran guitarist Maxxxwell Carlisle, bassist Dirt Von Karloff, and drummer Iorden Mitev. “It feels good to be back at it again, like an old lover who fucked you better than anyone before or after” said Zane during a decadent signing party at the DSN Music complex in Malibu, CA. “Everyone has those moments when you resurrect and reinvent. This album Rise From The Dead is one of those moments.” The comeback for Zane follows a hiatus during which he established a successful Hollywood career as a music video director, working on projects with such acts as Zakk Wylde, John 5, Wayne Static, and Orgy“For me this isn’t so much of a return for the band but more a return of my understanding of how necessary musical exploration is to my existence,” said Zane. The band is well known for their stage presence, especially Zane who sometimes inflicts pain on himself for the shock and amusement of fans. At Download Festival in 2005, Zane broke several records by performing the bands entire set suspended from 4 meat hooks through his back. While SOCIETY 1 us referenced as an industrial metal band this new track “It’s Yours Now” has much more of a groove filled grunge or 90’s rock sound. At times the song sounds hauntingly similar to the late Layne Staley fronted Alice In Chains. Though nothing can truly compare to seeing SOCIETY 1 in a live setting, this new video is a greatly directed piece of cinematography that showcases the band and a little bit of skin as an added bonus.
