Not long ago Motionless In White released a full album called ‘Graveyard Shift’, released via RoadRunner, which is well received by many fans of the band (including me). It may not be as heavy as their older albums but that is one of the best aspects of ‘Graveyard Shift’, it is unique, sick and as diverse as it can be. Get right in!

Today’s Kings Of Strings will be about guitar mastermind Seth Blake from metalcore band Wage War! Talking about the band, they have released 2 albums, their debut album ‘Blueprints’ (which is legendary) and their latest 2017 album ‘Deadweight’. I, and many others, didn’t think they could ever surpass their debut but they managed to make an album that is beyond words. They haven’t been around for that long yet they are quickly becoming one of the best metalcore acts this world has ever known. They aren’t bringing something unique to the table but instead they took all the beautiful and most loved parts of metalcore and stuffed it into 2 mind blowing records. Talking about band names and the story that goes behind it in naming so, a lot of band name themselves after their inspirations, some like to dig up the hardest word possible and just stick it to form a ‘super-word’ if I may says so or some bands just put up a simple name. But here is a cool story and a nice one to reflect upon every time you hear TEMPTING FATE blaring loud through a speaker. TEMPTING FATE was formed in Los Angeles, CA by two like minded brothers, Cory(vocals) and Shane Beecher(guitar/keys) in 2010 out of their passion for rock and roll.
Jinjer is an Ukrainian metalcore band with a bunch of groove elements. With just 1 EP and 3 full albums they are rising higher and higher and quickly becoming something huge. It all started with the EP ‘Inhale: Do Not Breathe’ that later that year got followed up by the album ‘Inhale: Don’t Breathe’. 2 years later they released their second album called ‘Cloud Factory’, now this piece really got the band moving! Latest 2016 album ‘King Of Everything’ is nothing but perfection, it is truly a piece of art and it deserves to be checked out. This November/December, WHITECHAPEL will embark on a North American tour, entitled “Decade of Defilement”, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of ‘The Somatic Defilement‘. On the last day of July TRIVIUM released their all new music video from the upcoming album ‘The Sin And The Sentence‘, which you can watch it HERE! Now TRIVIUM has officially released all the details regarding the same, the new album will be out on October 20th via Roadrunner Records and is already available for pre-orders from today onwards. Recorded with producer Josh Wilbur (LAMB OF GOD, GOJIRA) at Santa Ana, California’s Hybrid Studios, ‘The Sin And The Sentence‘ finds TRIVIUM – Matt Heafy (lead vocals, lead guitar), Corey Beaulieu (guitar, vocals), Paolo Gregoletto (bass) and Alex Bent (drums) –returning with their first new music since their celebrated 2015 LP, ‘Silence In The Snow‘. The new LP also features the band’s first recordings with new drummer Bent who joined the band last year.

Guitarist Rolf from the Dutch metalcore band The Charm The Fury announced on the 22th of August that he is going to leave the band. But there is hope because he will be the back up guitarist for the band and he will also remain a musician and continue to spread his skills.
Architects just announced their UK / EU tour that will kick off on the 24th of January with support of While She Sleeps, if you are into metalcore as much as I am you simply can’t miss this!
TRIVIUM and ARCH ENEMY are excited to announce plans for a co-headlining tour across North America later this Fall. Featuring support from English metalcore outfit WHILE SHE SLEEPS and New Jersey deathcore act FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY, the tour will kick off on October 27 in Orlando, FL and make its way across the U.S. and Canada before finishing on December 6 in Houston, TX.
