Clint Lowery (Sevendust) Says Wolfgang Van Halen Will Play Drums/Bass On His Upcoming Solo Album!

Sevendust guitarist Clint Lowery will enter the studio this weekend to begin recording his first solo album. Producing the album is Michael “Elvis” Baskette, who has previously worked with Sevendust, Alter Bridge and Slash, and various others. The album is expected to release sometime in late 2019 via Rise Records. When he first announced plans to release a solo album he stated: “”In the past, I released a few things close to a solo release with Hello Demons… Meet Skeletons (mainly acoustic); Call Me No One, which I did with [Sevendust drummer] Morgan Rose. Both projects were truly amazing experiences and still want to entertain doing more Call Me No One and Hello Demons… Meet Skeletons in the future. But I’ve decided to release a project under my name that is gonna represent where I’m at musically right now. I feel the need to do this and stand on my own two feet and push myself to make some music that moves me. To express myself.” He also mentioned that the album would include some very special guests. Glenn Hughes aka “The Voice of Rock” and the band came out to an almighty roar at the o2 Academy Venue in Bristol, UK. Though Glenn has been in various bands like Trapeze, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Black Country Communion, California Breed, and various others this tour was specifically about Glenn Hughes performing classic Deep Purple.

The cheers sounded like a stadium, the upstairs balcony area was also packed. Glen stepped onto the stage rocking a jacket with Union Jacks on the sleeves and of course his Yamaha bass. Continue reading

Sean Yseult (WHITE ZOMBIE) Touring With Pantera Was “The First Time We Saw People Actually Move Around And React To Our Music”

 

Sean Yseult, best known as the bass player from the multi-platinum and twice Grammy-nominated band White Zombie. The band formed in 1985 and Yseult played bass in White Zombie for 11 years before they disbanded in 1998. Though vocalist Rob Zombie went on to perform under his own name most fans recognize White Zombie as superior to his solo work. On November 1, 2010, Yseult released the book I’m in the Band, which contained tour diaries and photos as well as details from her eleven years spent as a member of White Zombie. She also was a member of the psycho-surf band Famous Monsters and the project that is most current is Star & Dagger.

Australian progressive metal masters are riding high on their recent success of the all new album ‘Urn‘ which was released last October. ENFOLD DARKNESS Bassist Todd Honeycutt Commits Suicide By Hanging At 30

Todd Honeycutt, the bassist of technical death metal heavy weights ENFOLD DARKNESS has sadly passed away at the mere age of 30, committing suicide by hanging.

Elijah Whitehead who is the band’s guitarist came home back from work yesterday only to find his fellow bassist and dear friend hanging in the garage, which rendered him “shaken and disturbed“. In what is truly appalling in this sad account of events, this is what Elijah said on his Facebook profile as he mourned Todd’s demise,
