Legendary deathcore act Fit For An Autopsy decided to release a deluxe edition of one of this year’s greatest deathcore albums called ‘The Great Collapse’ which includes 9 bonus tracks performed live at Rain City!
Minneapolis sludgers Boson take similarly simple elements and build them into riff-forward melodic soundscapes that unfold like signal pulses from a distant star. Formed in 2015 the band has quickly garnered the attention of vast amounts of fans with their jaw dropping riffs. The band has already released “Mass of the Phoenix” from their upcoming debut full length ‘Domain of Ember’, and they are now releasing another track prior to the albums release. “Shadowlands,” from their upcoming debut, ‘Domain of Ember’, will be released on November 3rd via Anxious & Angry Records.
You’re unlikely to find a phenomenon like Carmine and Vinny Appice a second time in the history of rock music. For more than forty years, the two brothers have been among the most sought-after and renowned rock drummers worldwide. Carmine and Vinny (each of them on their own) can be heard on numerous legendary albums and have toured countless times with some of the world’s greatest acts. Carmine embarked on his musical path in the 1960s with the unforgotten Vanilla Fudge, manning in the course of his illustrious career the drums for superstars such as Marty Friedman, Ted Nugent, Rod Stewart and Ozzy Osbourne, among others. His brother Vinny, who is eleven years his junior, looks back on an equally spectacular career, having worked with acts such as Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell and Dio, among others. With the exception of the live album ‘Drum Wars – Live!’ (2014), there has been no direct collaboration between the two so far. On October 27th Linkin Park was joined by numerous friends to honor their fallen singer Chester Bennington. The band hasn’t made very many appearances since the tragic loss of their friend and bandmate in July. We have seen numerous musicians dedicate songs to Chester while on tour recently, but this night was different. The entire night was a way for Linkin Park, fans and friends to celebrate Chester’s life. While we still don’t know if Linkin Park will continue this gives us a chance to see the band on stage with a variety of guests. If you aren’t already in the know, TRIVIUM recently released their new album “The Sin And The Sentence” with Roadrunner Records on October 20, 2017. Well, it doesn’t seem like they are wasting any time because they have also released an official video for the track ‘Thrown Into The Fire’ and holy shit is this a heavy one! The song features the newest addition to the TRIVIUM family, Drummer Alex Bent and it is their first new music since 2015s Silence In The Snow. ‘Thrown Into The Fire’ is full of raw emotion and power, I would definitely say that is some of Matt Heafys best work vocally on both the harsh and clean spectrum, and his transitions into both styles are flawlessly executed, and perfectly timed.
