Spite is a deathcore band from Michigan, United States and has to be one of the most vulgar and brutal bands on Earth. They have been reigning with just their debut and their latest album ‘Nothing Is Beautiful’ that came out earlier this year. The Last Ten Seconds Of Life is a deathcore band that originated in 2010 and released their first EP the same year called ‘Justice’. It is short but filled with aggression. Just 1 year later they already released their first full album ‘Know Your Exits’. In 2013 the album ‘Invilvo [Exvilvo]’ got out, if you weren’t a fan before this album would turn you into one. ‘Soulles Hymns’ has been released in the year 2015 and has been received greatly by its fans, not only is this album pure anger, passion and emotion it is also the last album where the former vocalist ”Storm” took part of. The full 2016 album ‘The Violent Sound’, released via Siege Music, is the first album to feature the new vocalist John Robert C. The vocals were and still are a huge part of the band and I can only say that Storm is doing an absolute amazing job on it. People were expecting a lot and he surely delivered!
This November/December, WHITECHAPEL will embark on a North American tour, entitled “Decade of Defilement”, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of ‘The Somatic Defilement‘. Featuring CARNIFEX, RINGS OF SATURN, ENTHEOS, and SO THIS IS SUFFERING as support, this trek will also include a set list with select tracks from ‘The Somatic Defilement‘ (some of which have not been played since the album’s release!), making this is one show not to be missed! Gravemind is a six piece Deathcore band originating from Melbourne, Australia. Having formed in 2015, the past two years they have been busy pushing out harsh, in your face content regularly and touring through Australia. Leaving what I can only imagine to be piles of rubble left over from any standing structures that were unlucky enough to have been ground zero for a Gravemind show.
Gravemind managed to get me interested right from the get go. Their music is enough to pull you in and keep you interested and the fact that they write concept albums is very cool if you ask me! Having this be their third release they have only gotten better at honing in on their craft. The Hateful One released back in 2015, featuring five slamming songs. The Death Of Teyolia which is a single song released in 2016. These are definitely worth checking out because they are solid releases and it will somewhat prepare you for ‘The Deathgate’. But trust me…. you won’t be ready for this monster!!

TRIVIUM and ARCH ENEMY are excited to announce plans for a co-headlining tour across North America later this Fall. Featuring support from English metalcore outfit WHILE SHE SLEEPS and New Jersey deathcore act FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY, the tour will kick off on October 27 in Orlando, FL and make its way across the U.S. and Canada before finishing on December 6 in Houston, TX.

On Friday, July 14th, yet another massively popular deathcore band hits the Chicago Open Air stage alongside Suicide Silence. Since forming in 2006, Whitechapel has consistently released great, heavy material and evolved slightly throughout each record. Phil Bozeman is considered to be one of the best vocalists in the wide variety of extreme metal with his mind boggling low screams. While being recognized for that, Bozeman also has a pretty solid singing voice. On the new record, ‘Mark of the Blade’, the band incorporates the clean vocals more often on tracks such as “Bring Me Home” and “Decennium”. You can check out the highly emotional video of “Bring Me Home” below. It has been a long time coming for Whitechapel to hit the US festival circuit. I saw them at Rock on the Range and they exceeded expectations. With one of the largest crowds on the third stage that weekend, they delivered a blistering setlist that tightly grasped the crowd for the entirety of the show. Today we will be talking about the downtempo band From Wrath To Ruins. They have been around since the year 2014 and are situated in Greensboro, North Carolina. The band is already ruling their town Greensboro but soon they will rule all over the state including your neighbourhood so watch out! They have created 2 EP’s so far and 2 singles. Their first EP is called ‘The Execution Initiative’ which is self released on the 11th of September 2015.
