PATHETIC FALLACY Release Orwellian Nightmare “2018” [Music Video]

With the rise of smart cars, smart phones, and smart speakers we are quickly descending down into a world George Orwell feared when he was writing his dystopian classic, 1984. This inspired metalcore band Pathetic Fallacy for their music video “2018”. Formed in New Jersey late 2017, Pathetic Fallacy released their first EP The New Years Tapes December 30 2017. After picking up steam on Spotify, they played their first show at Debonair Music Hall May 2 2018. Since then they have played venues such as Dingbatz, Boontunes, Publik House, among others. Toyah Cordingley was a beautiful, highly popular 24-year-old Australian who loved music and animals. Ms. Cordingley’s body was discovered in the dunes at Wangetti Beach, north of Cairns, Australia on October 22, a day after she was reported missing. Toyah was taken from the world way too early. A young lady just walking her dog on a beach was murdered, in a crime that has shaken the whole country. Despite a many leads collected by police, the killer is still at large. SONIC TEMPLE Announces Inaugural Lineup

 

Without knowing last year on May 20th after 10 years we bid farewell to Rock On The Range. Founder and co-producer Danny Wimmer Presents parted ways with AEG and ending the partnership which also closed the doors on Rock On The Range, Carolina Rebellion, and Northern Invasion. DWP has founded a new festival which will also be held at Mapfre Stadium in Columbus, Ohio on May 17th-19th. The new festival; Sonic Temple has promised to bring everything Rock On The Range had and build on it as well.  The anticipation has already been building as fans have been predicting what bands might be performing on the inaugural Sonic Temple festival. Today we take a huge step forward as they have released the full lineup of bands today.

ALIEN WEAPONRY Kick Off First-Ever North American Tour!

Three teenagers, known as Alien Weaponry, from a tiny town in the small South Pacific nation of New Zealand have managed to capture the imaginations of people all over the world with their unique thrash metal sound and commanding live performances.  Proclaimed by Noisey as a band “well on their way to world domination,” Alien Weaponry are invading North American shores for the first time ever, supporting industrial legends Ministry.  The tour kicked off earlier this month in San Francisco, CA and runs through December 21st in Los Angeles, CA.  A complete list of dates can be found below including a special headline show on November 23rd in Gallup, New Mexico can be found below. Black Thorn Halo is a heavy metal/thrash metal band from Austin, Texas that was conceived in 2010 by vocalist Ralph Lopez and bassist Jack Krupski. We had our good pal Zach Strouse playing live saxophone with us that night, so it seemed like a great chance to catch some footage. As always, working with David Brodsky and his team was a blast. We hope you enjoy.
We will also be embarking on our second European tour late this November with our friends in Revocation, Archspire, and Soreption. We will be playing a nice selection of new tunes as well as some old favorites. Come out and get in the pit!”

THE CHARM THE FURY Are Breaking Up!

 

The Charm The Fury formed in Amsterdam in 2010 and solidified their metal sound with their first album ‘A Shade Of My Former Self’ in 2013. It was a few years later when the band truly turned heads as they were signed to Nuclear Blast Records and released ‘The Sick, Dumb & Happy’. The band tour the U.S. playing several festivals along the way including Carolina Rebellion, Welcome To Rockville, Northern Invasion and revived the Wall Of Death among fans and moshers wherever they took the stage. The band was led by charismatic lead vocalist Caroline Westendorp. Her vocals were far superior to other female fronted bands and the band often was compared to the might legends Pantera. Rhythm guitarist Mathijs Parent exited the band in 2016 followed by lead guitarist Rolf Perdok in 2017.  Once those founding members left the band they had been pretty quiet after finishing out their tour schedule. On November 20th the band made a statement on Facebook that the band is officially breaking up.

Fireball – Fuelling The Fire Euro Tour: FLOGGING MOLLY, THE BRONX & More

 

Friday 2nd November 2018; Tickets for the hottest punk rock tour in town are selling fast! The first of two nights in London and the Bristol leg of the tour are now SOLD OUT, and the bands are gearing up for an explosive 10 date tour when they hit the road next month.

Hitting the road throughout December 2018, the ‘Fireball – Fuelling The Fire Tour’ will feature a star studded lineup of the best in punk music, with The Bronx recently joining previously announced headliners in Celtic-punk legends Flogging Molly, So Cal punk veterans Face to Face, and the Glasgow pop-punks from Fireball’s Hottest Band 2018 Lost in Stereo. Tour favorite and friend of Fireball, DJ Matt Stocks, will also return again this year, providing the soundtrack between acts.
