Back in the month of March, when the news of the departure of Anders Björler from AT THE GATES surfaced, people were left shocked and appalled, questioning the motive behind it. The reaction was obvious as he was one of the founding members of the band. He later confirmed the news, stating the reason behind hanging up his boots in the band. He said the decision followed because, “The passion is just gone.” He also added, “This is a personal decision, and it has 100% to do with the music side of things.“, thus giving a possible insight of a different musical venture.

TEMPTING FATE was formed in Los Angeles, CA by two like minded brothers, Cory(vocals) and Shane Beecher(guitar/keys) in 2010 out of their passion for rock and roll.

Todd Honeycutt, the bassist of technical death metal heavy weights ENFOLD DARKNESS has sadly passed away at the mere age of 30, committing suicide by hanging.
Elijah Whitehead who is the band’s guitarist came home back from work yesterday only to find his fellow bassist and dear friend hanging in the garage, which rendered him “shaken and disturbed“. Black metal blasphemers 1349 from the land of utterly sacrilegious metal Norway are all set to invade North America for a short tour and thus spread the cult. Beginning on October 10th, at Atlanta, they will be supported by avant-garde metal band TOMBS, as they are also slated to play at this year’s Ozzfest. Its been just wee bit over a year that Mumbai solo artist DEMONSTEALER released his epic solo album, ‘This Burden Is Mine‘ which features the mighty George Kollias from NILE. And now he is back again with some new material this year for an EP which seems to be an unique collaboration effort on this one. He will be seen growling and playing crazy riffs along with four drummers well known in the death metal circuit, with whom the collaboration is all about. Northern Californian death metal quartet APOTHESARY are back with another round of tour dates starting this October in support of their recent album ‘Accept Loss Forever‘, released earlier this summer on M-Theory Audio.
