Metal has yet again spoken beautifully with metalcore records such as Erra & Ice Nine Kills or even the highly praised Aborted piece. And if those albums weren’t exactly for you then the long awaited Underoath will for sure do you right. It doesn’t matter how you put it, 2018 has been a fantastic year for metal!
“…this was definitely one of the best tours in our career” – Aborted
32 back-to-back shows, in 32 days – after annihilating Europe with their sold-out “Hell Over Europe” tour, Aborted brought “TerrorVision” to the UK and Ireland for a whole week of goremageddon in support of the brand new album*. With Montréal’s extreme metal titans Cryptopsy as special guests, hot from the release of ‘The Book of Suffering – Tome II’, and support from the UK’s own Ingested and Unfathomable Ruination, this was to be the ultimate deathfest, and we caught it all on the opening night!
“TerrorVision” is out now on Century Media Records and can be purchased here.
“UK fiends! We have some exciting news! The tour gods smileth thine way and will let us annihilate you lovely c**ts with our good friends of Cryptopsy, Ingested and Unfathomable Ruination !! Come on out and party with us like it’s 1999 or something.”
With Aborted’s “Hell Over Europe” tour almost a complete sell-out, they now turn their attention to decimate the UK and Ireland with arguably the most brutal death metal line-up of the year! The Belgian Death/grinders will be joined by special guests, the extreme metal titans Cryptopsy, with their fresh independent offering ‘The Book of Suffering – Tome II’. Further support comes from the UK’s own slam kings Ingested with their first show back on British soil after their hugely successful North American headline “Evisceratour”, and London’s own brutal outfit Unfathomable Ruination. The tour begins tonight at The Dome in Tufnell Park London with the last few tickets remaining! Let’s show the world what the UK is made of – let the carnage begin! Continue reading
If you are a fan of the heavy Aborted is all you need. They come from Belgium and are ready to let everyone experience what brutality really is about. With vocals from hell and riffs that will literally kick your ass I can tell you that Aborted are back to raise hell with the release of ‘TerrorVision’.
French death-grinders BENIGHTED have announced a fall European tour that sees the band joining ABORTED and CRYPTOPSY. The tour kicks off on November 1 and concludes on November 25. A full list of confirmed full dates can be found below.
BENIGHTED are touring in support of ‘Necrobreed‘, which was released last year on February 27. It has been a little over a year now and the sickness of the new and latest record has not ceased spreading yet. The new album was pretty well received by fans and critics all over the world and cemented the band’s impact on the death metal/grind scene even more. Released under French label Season Of Mist, this is their eighth studio effort, and if you ask me, it is the most strongest record in their entire two decade long catalogue.
When I heard that legendary thrash metal band Sepultura would be playing near me in Hedon Zwolle I instantly got my tickets to the show. They weren’t coming alone, they brought death metal band Aborted with supporting band Killing Cult Society. Even though I had never heard Killing Cult Society I had high hopes because you don’t become the support band for Sepultura for nothing! Before we go any further I need to talk about the venue, Hedon Zwolle. This has been my second time being there and yet again right after the doors were open you felt welcomed. Everything was well organized and the staff was friendly and easy to talk to. I am really happy about this venue and I am glad that I am lucky enough to live close to it. Already looking forward to being there again!
