Second wave of Norwegian Black Metal legends, SATYRICON are ready to break all hell loose as they have announced that ‘Deep Calleth Upon Deep‘, their highly anticipated ninth studio album, is set for release on 22nd September via Napalm Record.
The new album was recorded in the country’s capital city of Oslo, Norway and also in Vancouver, Canada, during early 2017 and mixed together by revered studio guru Mike Fraser (who previously worked on SATYRICON‘s 2006 album, ‘Now, Diabolical‘), ‘Deep Calleth Upon Deep‘ is not just a new collection of songs from one of extreme music’s most enduring and reliable bands: this is a wholesale re-invention and a brand new era in SATYRICON history.

Moretta’s highly anticipated sophomore album has arrived. ‘What’s Left Means Nothing’, ironically, brings it all to the table. “This album is a representation of where we are as musicians and as individuals. I couldn’t be more proud of how it turned out” said vocalist Joe Paisley. In a genre that has become increasingly stagnant by imitation, Moretta finds their footing by refusing to let the genre define them. The band may have started with a mutal love for hardcore but their style and sound has branched out and bloomed far from where they started. Though they retain some hardcore elements the band is truly a multi fusion band that straddles the fence on several genres. Every song meticulously crafted to deliver that special something listeners feen for. With choruses you’ll catch yourself singing at work, blended tastefully with breakdowns you can’t help but play along to on your steering wheel, Moretta continues to grow their fan base around the globe.
Lyrically, they challenge you to look within to find purpose and meaning, urging you to no longer accept the lies being fed through mainstream media; Moretta is asking you to think for yourself, find forgiveness, and take on your internal demons with strength. ‘What’s Left Means Nothing’ will be released on July 28th. Four piece Norwegian death metal band EXECRATION are 13 years already into the business and have released three nerve wrecking albums till date. Their last album was pretty well received and they did a lot of shows both in homeland Norway and have also previously toured with death metal giants CANNIBAL CORPSE. They are now back with their fourth album which is slated to be released on July 14th, out via Metal Blade Records. The upcoming album is titled as, ‘Return To The Void‘. Together they will be touring from the 31th of October till the 1th of December, I highly suggest every North American that is either into Death, Black or Thrash metal to pay them a visit!
