Portland, ME Southern Rock Band Fifth Freedom has released the Official Music Video for the single “Midnight Rain” off of their 2016, sophomore album ‘Heartbreak & Hellfire.’ Fifth Freedom are a rockin’ group from the great north in Maine, but their music has it’s roots in the south. The mixture of classic rock and southern rock is a great way to describe their sound. The band went on tour with Kentuckians Black Stone Cherry for two months, and that tour put the spotlight on Fifth Freedom and brought some well deserved attention to the band. “Heartbreak & Hellfire” was recorded with Jon Wyman at The Halo Studios. The album was mastered by the Grammy Award winning mastering engineer Adam Ayan ( A Perfect Circle, Linkin Park, Nirvana) and the renowned Gateway Mastering Studios in Portland, ME. “Midnight Rain, is a bluesy ballad shouted from the very depths of singer, Alan Jones’ soul. While every track on ‘The Grand Annihilation’ stands separate from those around it, it is still a cohesive collection, and at no point do the stylistic twists and turns undermine its coherence. The blasting, scathing yet melodic black metal savagery of opener “Black Sun Horizon” and “Way Of The Storm” are very much built to destroy, while wielding a poignancy that is undeniable – both of which stand in strong contrast to the uncomfortable post-punk squall of “Underneath” that showcases front-man Mike Hill’s Nick Cave/Ian Curtis-esque singing voice, while the likes of the throbbing “Saturnalian” and unnerving tribal thunder of “Walk With Me In Nightmares” stand in categories all of their own.

With Jacques Lemaire’s guidance & training KB was sent on a holy crusade to slay the sexy demon in the name of the Lord, who was born on isle 2 in 7-11.

Political statements are not new in the music industry and in the newest video from the psychedelic Brooklyn rockers Karabas Barabas, they bring a thought provoking query on the role of public figures in defining political responsibility. The song, “Sexy Guy,” which is off of their full length 2016 release ‘The Return of the Sexy Demon‘ which was produced by Steve Albini. It is unique to be sure, with echoes of such influences as Mr. Bungle and flashes of Foxy Shazam, but it’s infinitely catchy with an infectious, groovy chant like feel.

Legendary vocalist Steven Tyler is undergoing “immediate medical attention” due to some “unexpected medical issues”. And that has forced the entire band AEROSMITH to cancel the remaining last four tour dates or shows of the ongoing “Aero-Vederci Baby!” tour that was announced some couple of months back. The singer has been told by doctors to put a hault on the touring and performing part until he gets fully fit and back in form.
