Nearly three years in the making, black metal legends SATYRICON have revealed their highly anticipated ninth studio album, ‘Deep Calleth Upon Deep’ is set for release on 22nd September via Napalm Records. The opus will be available in digital format, CD digipak and gatefold vinyl options and is now available for pre-order HERE!  The band recently unveiled initial album details and the album’s artwork, an obscure drawing from 1898 by perhaps the greatest Norwegian artist of all time, Edvard Munch.

Belgian deathgrind monsters Leng Tch’e just dropped a brand new, brutal track off their upcoming record ‘Razorgrind’. “Stentor of Doom” clocks in at just under two minutes. If it were any longer, it might just give you a heart attack. You can check out the track below along with other previously released tracks from the album. Experimental rock group Primus has just announced the release date and title of their upcoming album. On September 29th, ‘The Desaturating Seven’ will be unleashed to the public via ATO Records. They also released the first song off the record, which they have also been playing live this summer. “The Seven” is a groove filled monster that sounds like it belongs on any of their old school albums. Les Claypool even compares it to King Crimson‘s 1981 record ‘Disciple’. The album is based on a 1978 children’s book called “The Rainbow Goblins” written and illustrated by Italian writer Ul de Rico. It will be the band’s first record since ‘Tales From The Punchbowl’ (1995) that features Larry LaDonde and Tim “Herb” Alexander back in the band. I can’t wait to see how many more twists and turns the band takes. They also added more US tour dates in the fall set to kick off towards mid October. As soon as the news came out, there was a massive out pour of grief on social media all across the world, scores of fans mourning and remembering Chester‘s legacy through his songs and pictures. I have also had some of my friends call me talk about it because we were big LINKIN PARK fans back in school, and hell, we still are. Celebrities, rockers, the entire metal community along with the hip hop fraternity expressed their sorrow and stories of love and companionship with the vocalist on social media.

Last week we let you know that SLAYER will be performing at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Yesterday July 27 was the day when the band performed at one of the most wide known and famous late night shows and absolutely killed it, with their all time great song “Raining Blood“. They performed just like any other metal show or concert without giving a damn that it is the mainstream TV. Watch as SLAYER decimates the place and the mainstream. Don’t forget to scream the mandatory SLAAYAAAAAAA as you see them!

SLAYER , BEHEMOTH and LAMB OF GOD have already kick started this one hell of a bloody infidel tour on July 12 in Bemidji, Minnesota and are scheduled to end the massacre on August 20 in Phoenix, Arizona. The most bad ass tour of this year, hands down to be honest.

Alternative rock band Highly Suspect continues their onslaught of touring with another headlining run this fall. Support on the tour will come from DJ Redbees. They are currently out on the road this summer doing a headliner tour across the country. You can check out the remaining dates to that and the newly added dates below. The band is out supporting their 2016 release ‘The Boy Who Died Wolf’ which features several hits like “Serotonia”, “Little One”, and “My Name Is Human”. It sounds like the band has already been playing more new material in preparation of another new record so get out to a show and hear these songs before they officially release in the future.
