Earlier in the hour on Instagram, Thy Art Is Murder vocalist, CJ McMahon announced that he will be stepping down from their current tour with Architects to be with his wife as he has a baby on the way. With a week left of the tour, the band has reached out to fellow vocalist Nick Arthur (Molotov Solution) to fill in for CJ on the final shows of this run. It is expected that CJ‘s son will be born next week, with that being said, we here at Metal Nexus wish him the best wishes with the birth of his son and hope to see him back on the road again soon.

Bad news first: tomorrow nights Philly show will be my last show with the band for our tour with Architects. Now for the good news: MY BABY IS ON THE WAY!!! The band and I had all hoped I would be able to finish the last week of the tour but it looks like I have to make it home now as the docs have said that the baby could come as early as next week. The boys have given me their blessing to leave to be with my wife and I cannot wait to meet my little prince of darkness. Further to this, as master planners for all contingencies, we reached out well ahead of time to our old friend Nick Arthur (Molotov Solution) to see if he would be prepared to step in for me should the pregnancy speed up, and he will gladly be filling my shoes for the remaining dates. I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude and love to him for covering for me while I am with my family for the birth. Thanks guys!

ZEROKING Takes On The Varying Lifestyles Of A Rockstar In “Looks Like Hell” [Video Stream]

i
Few things in life go together better than Jäger, blunts, and blow up dolls, am I right? Well, Zeroking’s latest music video for “Looks Like Hell” shows that these Southern metallers definitely know how to party (and even cook a mean breakfast). As the first single off their upcoming album ‘The Empire of Sin,’ “Looks Like Hell” is chock full of groove, sleazy riffs, and a catchy chorus in the vein of bands like Black Label Society and Down.

Hailing from Columbus OH, Like Moths To Flames have seemingly enjoyed instant success, thanks in part to vocalist Chris Roetter handling vocal duties in Emarosa, forming in early 2010 and singing to Rise Records later and releasing ‘Sweet Talker’ shortly after.  Constant touring and numerous lineup changes has seen the bands sound change a bit, while still being firmly rooted in its metalcore roots, with their most recent release, 2017’s Dark Divine, showing off their penchant for soaring choruses.
