CKY Release Video For “Wiping Off The Dead”, Announce Tour With SLAVES

 

Skate punk legends CKY have released video for “Wiping Off the Dead” and announce upcoming tour. Directed by Dave Causa, this is the third video for the latest release The Phoenix. Drummer Jess Margera explains, “Our good friend Dave Causa filmed us rehearsing for our UK tour last summer and the end result was us making a badass music video. “It was filmed before we ever played a single show for the release of our album. Thank you, Dave, and thank you CKY alliance! Enjoy this great video from the archives.” This release follows up the latest video “Head for a Breakdown”, filmed around London with The Costa Sisters during their widely successful tour. CKY Release New Music Video For “Head For A Breakdown” [HIM Tour Dates Listed]

CKY have debuted a brand new music video for their single “Head For a Breakdown.” Directed by The Costa Sisters, this is the third music video we’ve seen from the band off their latest LP. The video was shot in and around London, UK during the band’s near sellout run earlier this year.

“We were lucky enough to get a day off to explore one of the best cities on earth with our friends,” says the band. “The extremely talented Costa sisters, Elena & Sofia were behind the camera. We decided to crash the Queen’s Garden Party and film our video in front of the gates of Buckingham Palace.” Continue reading

Review: CKY Rise From The Ashes With ‘The Phoenix’

It seems CKY have a knack for delivering raw, authentic material with every release.  Since the early days of their skate-punk upbringing, they have continued to improve and impress with their upcoming album ‘The Phoenix’, set for release June 16, being no exception.
