HATEBREED is one of the most known and successful hardcore bands that emerged from the 90s. Coming out of New Haven, Connecticut HATEBREED has unleashed 7 studio albums to date, most recently ‘The Concrete Confessional‘ on May 13, 2016. Vocalist Jamie Jasta and bassist Chris Beattie are the only surviving original members over the course of the band’s seminal 20+ years of worldwide hardcore dominance. ‘The Concrete Confessional‘ marks their return to the hardcore forefront after the release of 2013’s ‘The Divinity of Purpose‘. Ensuing the release of their new album the band has commenced and is already touring the entire world under the banner of The Concrete Confessional World Tour. Currently, playing North America with death metal legends DYING FETUS, CODE ORANGE and TWITCHING TONGUES. Right after this N. American tour, the hardcore outfit will head out for an European starting next year in January.
Southern rock-influenced hardcore metallers All Hail The Yeti have posted several behind-the-scenes videos at Water Music Studios in Hobokon, New Jersey, where they have been recording their upcoming full-length album. Set for release in early 2018 via Minus Head Records, the follow-up to 2016’s ‘Screams From A Black Wilderness’ will feature select tracks co-written with J-Dog (Jorel Decker) of Hollywood Undead, with AHTY announcing two additional special guests and touring details very soon! They just couldn’t stay away. Just 18 months after calling it quits, California hardcore veterans Lionheart are back with their brand new album ‘Welcome To The West Coast II’. Formed in 2004 in Oakland the beatdown hardcore band couldn’t lay the lion to rest. Hardcore bands strive to get the sound that Lionheart has been unleashing for over a decade, and the band just premiered a music video for the single “Cursed” which gives an exclusive look into their world, and why they decided get back to business. “We fucked up,” vocalist Rob Watson told Alternative Press. “Everybody missed it immediately. That’s life. That’s how it goes; people make bad decisions all the time. We should never have broken up. Bridge Nine have just unveiled Jesse Leachs (Killswitch Engage) impassioned electro/dub cover of Minor Threats “Salad Days” as the latest preview to their teased 19-song compilation album entitled ‘Still Having Their Say’. Featuring re-imagined interpretations of Hardcore hallmarks by the likes of Strife, letlive., Fu Manchu, The Riverboat Gamblers and more, the compilation will accompany the long awaited ‘xXx Fanzine (1983-1988) Hardcore & Punk in the Eighties’ book which drops on Nov 10th (pre-orders available here). On “Salad Days”, Leach commented, “I’m honoured to be a part of this covering one of my favourite bands on the planet. I wanted to bring a whole other creative approach to the song. I feel like if you’re going to do a cover you might as well push it in another direction and make it unique. I think it’s safe to say I added my own spin to the track. So Cal rockers The Black Hand have just dropped another emotionally charged video for the song “Where Are You Now?” the second to be taken from their debut ‘Self-titled’ album which is out now and available across all platforms. The Rick Gomez directed video features Michael Cudlitz, best known for his role as ‘Abraham’ in the hit television series The Walking Dead. Lead vocalist Chris Hughes describes, “Working on this video was heavy. Everyone involved left it all on the set. As soon as you walked in the room you felt it. The Last Ten Seconds Of Life is a deathcore band that originated in 2010 and released their first EP the same year called ‘Justice’. It is short but filled with aggression. Just 1 year later they already released their first full album ‘Know Your Exits’. In 2013 the album ‘Invilvo [Exvilvo]’ got out, if you weren’t a fan before this album would turn you into one. ‘Soulles Hymns’ has been released in the year 2015 and has been received greatly by its fans, not only is this album pure anger, passion and emotion it is also the last album where the former vocalist ”Storm” took part of. The full 2016 album ‘The Violent Sound’, released via Siege Music, is the first album to feature the new vocalist John Robert C. The vocals were and still are a huge part of the band and I can only say that Storm is doing an absolute amazing job on it. People were expecting a lot and he surely delivered!
