Hailing from Columbus OH, Like Moths To Flames have seemingly enjoyed instant success, thanks in part to vocalist Chris Roetter handling vocal duties in Emarosa, forming in early 2010 and singing to Rise Records later and releasing ‘Sweet Talker’ shortly after.  Constant touring and numerous lineup changes has seen the bands sound change a bit, while still being firmly rooted in its metalcore roots, with their most recent release, 2017’s Dark Divine, showing off their penchant for soaring choruses. Sweden’s Soilwork just might be the most consistent metal band out there.  1998’s ‘Steelbath Suicide’ laid the ground work for the bands sound of angular guitar riffs and pummeling drums mixed with Bjorn’s impressive vocal range.  The band have expanded their sound over the 20 year career, at times showcasing their penchant for strong hooks ala 2005’s ‘Stabbing The Drama’ to go alongside their more death metal leanings.  The band has enjoyed much success worldwide and kicked off 2019 by releasing their 13th studio album, ‘Verkligheten’. Ken Susi is most known as the guitar player for metalcore giants Unearth, but Susi has quietly built up a resume that showcases his many talents within the music industry from producing a handful of records like ‘Hardcore Lives’ by hardcore legends Madball and Ligeia’s “Your Ghost Is A Gift’ and “Bad News’ to name a few.  Ken has also carved out a career over the last few years  being a brand ambassador and artists relations rep for Fishman Pickups which has become one of the biggest pickup brands thanks to Susi.  Oh, and he also put out a scorching new record with his band Unearth, ‘Extinctinon(s)’, which is their seventh album over their 20+ year career. Pennsylvania’s From Ashes To New are leading the way for the Nu Metal resurgence blending arena ready choruses with rapped/sung verses that harken back to the early genre’s hey day, with a modern take on the sound. The band has taken the rock world by storm over their 6 year career with 2016 release, ‘Day One’, that netted the band spots opening for Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach and others.
