2019 is just three months down and we already have great releases from metal’s top shots lined up the sleeve. Among the many dropping their new albums, probably the most anticipated one are from the big bad German boys in RAMMSTEIN. Till Lindemann and his troupe have been teasing us with photos and stills from the music videos they’ve been shooting, studio updates regarding the completion of mixing their new album which was back in January. I guess we can finally say we have some cloud drift off the suspense finally today. RAMMSTEIN today has posted a short teaser which I assume is from one of their new videos, which might drop this Friday, 28th of March, as it states in the video, titled, “XXVIII.III.MMXIX“. You can see the members standing on the gallows with the noose on their necks ready to be hanged, in the video.

German Black metal visionaries Der Weg Einer Freiheit have kicked off their European tour in support of their highly acclaimed and recently released album ‘Finisterre’. Alongside Primordial and Moonsorrow, the “Heathen Crusade 2018” tour will charge through multiple countries throughout the month and will showcase Der Weg Einer Freiheit at the height of their powers. While rumors are still flying thick and fast in the media, Tom Angelripper has already announced the new line-up of his band SODOM: Husky (ASPHYX, DESASTER) is set to man the drum kit, Frank Blackfire (ex-SODOM, ex-Kreator, FRANK BLACKFIRE, ASSASSIN) and Yorck Segatz (BEYONDITION) have been enlisted on guitars. Sodom have already released seminal albums such as ‘Persecution Mania‘, the live cut ‘Mortal Way Of Live‘ and the highly successful ‘Agent Orange‘ with Frank Blackfire. As he had hinted at the beginning of the year, Tom has opted for a line-up featuring two guitarists, an absolute novelty for Sodom. “Two guitarists allow us much more possibilities live, so we will be able to play tracks in future that we weren’t able to perform as a trio,” the SODOM vocalist/bassist explains his motives. In line with these new possibilities, the thrash act has already started to put together a set list for the upcoming shows with all important classics as well as rare numbers that had never or only rarely been heard at their gigs. Says Tom: “I can promise that we will really let it rip in future.”
