This month’s state is Vermont!
The world sure could use some more good ol’ rock n’ roll now more than ever and hailing from Barre, VT, the beer-drinking, crowd-moving, rockers Stone Bullet are here to deliver just that. Coming fully equipped with the drive, talent, and a powerful arsenal of heavy-hitting original material, these guys have no trouble gaining fans at every show they play with some of those shows being alongside some of today’s biggest names. Stone Bullet have added a variety of bands with whom they’ve shared the stage including Seether, Buckcherry, Skid Row, Fuel, Black Stone Cherry, and Puddle of Mudd to name a few.
Their latest release, 2016’s ‘Sons of the Gun’, has proven these guys just keep getting better with every release – not taking away from previous releases ‘Drive’ (2013), and their self-titled 2012 debut.
“It’s all about the song,” singer Dave Lawrence says. “You have to have good songs, write and tell good authentic stories and give it your all. Our newest material just keeps getting better and better and we’re really excited about it. We don’t worry what people think or how big or small the venue is. We just take our songs, our energy, and go for it and so far the people have responded.”
According to the band’s Facebook page, Stone Bullet is “…raw energized rock on the rise spilling its guts about life, sex, love, booze, and everything in between with a live show to match.” Who doesn’t like one or all of those things, right? The band’s sound can easily be a refreshing take on 90’s-00’s alternative/rock for fans of the genre as the band puts a modern twist on the sound of arguably music’s most progressive era.
