Overkill
Thrash metal old gunners from New Jersey, OVERKILL are going to headline ‘Metal Alliance US Tour 2017‘ this coming September. Also joining in the line up is sludge metal band from New Orleans, CROWBAR, fellow thrash metal young guns HAVOK, technical thrash metal band BLACK FAST and the recently formed INVIDIA, comprising of IN THIS MOMENT and Ex-FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH members. The tour will envelope the entire month of September, starting off at The Forge in Joliet, IL on September 8th, 2017 and bringing it to a close at the One Centre Square, Easton, PA on 30th of the same month.
OVERKILL‘s latest record, ‘The Grinding Wheel‘, just came out some months back in February via Nuclear Blast Records, and has been doing good on the charts. They are going to perform a couple of new songs from this album as would any band in support of their new album. Jason Bittner (SHADOWS FALL, FLOTSAM AND JETSAM) is the new member to join their camp after the ousting of their former drummer, Ron Lipnicki. It would be interesting to see him perform in a new band and what he can bring on to the table.
Likewise, CROWBAR and HAVOK will be out touring promoting their latest records, ‘The Serpent Only Lies‘ and ‘Conformicide‘ respectively. The former having released it back in last October and ‘Conformicide‘ just out a few months ago in March. So you better get used to the new tunes and get those battle jackets and leather ready, this sure promises to be one hell of a tour. Dates and tickets are already out, as shown below:
