We all have Skeletons in the closet right? Well, September 15th guitar legend BOB KULICK (KISS, MEATLOAF, LOU REED, ALICE COOPER, MOTORHEAD, W.A.S.P. and various others) is unleashing his skeletons upon the world with the release of his first solo album titled… you guessed it ‘Skeletons In The Closet’ available from Vanity Records.
51 years after making his recording debut BOB KULICK decided the time was finally right to step out of the shadows and into the light. Bob is largely known as a “ghost” guitarist. Someone whom plays on albums he doesn’t always get credit for. Artist pay him to perform on their recordings, he is one of the best hired guns in the business. Kind of like a 9-5 musician. He also spends a lot of his time producing and has worked with a variety of artists in the past.
Bob spoke with Metal Nexus to let us in on why now was the right time for his first solo release. Also why he chose a plethora of musicians and friends such as Dee Snider, Eric Singer, Bruce Kulick, Frankie Banali,, Rudy Sarzo, Todd Kerns and Vinny Appice to name just a few, to share the experience with.
