Industrial Metal Veterans DOPE are teaming with G-punk innovators (HED)P.e. to announce their The Monster High Tour 2017 with metal rockers Ill Niño on select dates. “I’m really excited about this tour” says Edsel Dope. “We have never done a proper USA Tour with (HED)P.e., or Ill Niño, so this should be a really cool experience for the fans and for all of us…Me and Jared from (HED)P.e. are already talking about doing some collaborations before and during the tour… ” These three bands combined will make for a star studded evening across the 35 date tour. Ill Niño will be on the bill for 6 of those dates. Dope’s live show has really become a sight to behold. “We’ve continued to add to our production to each and every tour” Edsel says with a smile.. “The show is almost out of hand at this point”. Performances by Dope and (HED)P.e. will include highly interactive production, complete with 100 square feet of LED wall, geisers and more. The tour begins on September 9th at the Blue Ridge Rock Festival in Lynchburg, Virginia. The lineup for that festival includes these bands as well as Trapt, Drowning Pool, Flaw, Texas Hippie Coalition Everlast, Saliva and various others totaling more than 25 bands. It’s an incredible way to kick off a tour. Dope is of course touring in support of their recent album ‘Blood Money Part 1’ and may also be playing material from their upcoming follow up album ‘Blood Money Part 2’, while (HED)P.e. is also supporting their recent album ‘Forever’ which released July 22nd of last year. The tour snakes its way across 27 states from coast to coast and stops on November 9th in San Diego, California. Continue reading
