METALLICA To Play Special Club Concert On Long Island, New York To Launch SiriusXM ‘Maximum Metallica’ Channel

Brace yourselves, Metallica fans the legends are going small to go big. On Thursday, August 28METALLICA will unleash a rare intimate live set at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, Long Island, New York. The one-night-only show marks the launch of their brand-new SiriusXM channel, Maximum Metallica, which officially goes live the next day on Channel 42 and the SiriusXM app.

Drummer Lars Ulrich dropped the surprise announcement during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show earlier today (August 6), sending shockwaves through the metal community.

The gig won’t just be for those lucky enough to cram into the Talkhouse — a recording of the performance will premiere Monday, September 1 at 12 PM ET on Maximum Metallica, so everyone in the Metallica Family can plug in and rage.

The band shared their excitement, stating:
