Metal icon KING DIAMOND has announced details on his forthcoming album and released dates for a North American tour that will kick off in early November and run until the end of the year.
The Institute, KING DIAMOND‘s first studio album since 2007’s Give Me Your Soul…Please, will be released in 2020, preceded by a single this fall. A sampling of the new material and a brand new stage show was previewed during his recently concluded European festival run. “For reasons unknown to you, it is clear that you have no way of making it to The Institute on your own at this point. Therefore, we will bring THE INSTITUTE to you,” DIAMOND said via press release; “You don’t want to miss this special opportunity for treatment only we can give you. It could be for your own good, you know…”
In support of The Institute, KING DIAMOND will be haunting North American theaters throughout November and December, with special guests UNCLE ACID & THE DEADBEATS and IDLE HANDS.
For the first time ever, VIP Meet & Greet packages with KING DIAMOND will be made available on this tour. The packages, which include one ticket to the show and exclusive merchandise, will go on sale Tuesday morning, August 20, at http://www.kingdiamondcoven.com.
