Thrash heroes Exmortus are back with a new single, “Victory or Death!”, off their upcoming album ‘The Sound Of Steel‘. This battle anthem is the perfect track to round out the singles they released to promote the new record. Like the other tracks “Make Haste” and “Feast of Flesh”, this thrashy gem is sure to be a favorite in the pit. You can stream the track below!
In other news, to support the upcoming album, Exmortus are headed on road for the North American Summer Of Steel tour. Joining them will be The Absence and Hatchet along with Novareign, Immortal Guardian, Black Fast and label mates Micawber on specific dates. On June 7th , they will also be hosting a record release show at the famous Whiskey a Go Go with Kataklysm.
Riding on the success of the last two records ‘Slave to the Sword‘ and ‘Ride Forth‘, Exmortus is working with Zack Ohren (Machine Head, Fallujah, Suffocation) again at Sharkbite Studio to capture their bellicose thrash goodness. Artist Philip Lawvere (Kreator, Celtic Frost, Helloween) was also tasked with creating the glorious cover art. ‘The Sound Of Steel‘ will be available globally June 8th via Prosthetic Records (excluding Japan which will be overseen by Marquee Inc.). The album will be available digitally as well as physical release on CD and LP, with a limited 1000 run of colored LPs. The color LPs will run as follows:
