Guns N’ Roses keyboard wizard Dizzy F’n Reed is turning up the heat with his new single “Earn It 2 Burn It” — the latest taste of his upcoming solo record Rock ’N’ Roll Chose Me. The vinyl drops August 22, 2025 via Pittsburgh’s 50q Records, with the digital version arriving September 5.

Alongside the release, Reed has unleashed a gritty, no-bullshit lyric video, channeling his love of heavy metal and the spirit of Deep Purple legend Jon Lord. Backed by Johnny Kelly (drums), Mike Duda (bass), and Jason Achilles Mezilis (guitar/production), “Earn It 2 Burn It” is a snarling anthem about busting your ass and still getting screwed by the system.

“This song’s about working ourselves into the ground, racking up insane debt for education we never use, and being force-fed what we ‘should’ want,” Reed says. “It’s metal with purpose.”

Rock ’N’ Roll Chose Me is a 10-track journey through grit, struggle, mental health battles, and the fight to keep music as a unifying force in a fractured world. Produced by Reed himself, mixed by Evan Rodaniche, and mastered by Gentry Studer, the album promises hard rock with soul and zero compromise.
