Dimmu Borgir is celebrating 25 of baptizing the world in darkness and fire, and with it being 7 long years since the release of their most recent studio album ‘ABRAHADABRA‘ you should be elated to know that Dimmu Borgir has finally broken the soul torturing silence and confirmed that their 10th studio album titled ‘Eonian’ is set to be released on May 4th, 2018! The news comes after an official post on Facebook where the band states their celebration of 25 years dominating the genre that is Symphonic Black Metal, and their return to the music world after 7 years of silence.
‘Eonian’ will consist of 10 new tracks and follows a philosophical concept that deals with the illusion of time. I don’t know about you, but I could not be more excited to see what this Black Metal giant has in store for us later this year. Don’t want to wait until May to hear new music from Dimmu Borgir? Fret not! The first single from the album will be released on February 23, 2017 via 7” Vinyl which can be pre-ordered here.
