LIVE and Bush are back on U.S. soil after a successful UK tour! And to top it all, it’s the original line-up of LIVE, featuring, Ed Kowalczyk (vocals, guitar), Chad Taylor (guitar, backing vocals), Patrick Dahlheimer (bass) and Chad Gracey (drums, percussion). The enough can’t be said about Bush who have been keeping ALT rock alive since the 90’s. Led by frontman Gavin Rossdale the band still sounds as good if not better than they did well over 2 decades ago.
Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale says, “We are thrilled to be touring this summer with Live.” He adds, “The wealth and depth of songs from both bands should provide a great night of music. Looking forward to seeing you all this summer.”
Live frontman Ed Kowalczyk says, “Bush is a great band and Gavin is a super passionate singer and performer. I’m really looking forward to spending the summer with them. I know the fans are going to get one hell of a show.”
Prior to UK shows, LIVE played 26 shows throughout the US in 2017, including major festivals such as Austin City Limits, Lollapalooza and Arroyo Seco, they also played a run of arena dates with legendary GUNS N’ ROSES and solo headlining shows in five different countries.
With the LIVE juggernaut now truly back and firing on all cylinders, in March of this year, a massive 33 date co-headline summer tour of the US was announced with Bush that began in June and finishes in September, but now the band has extended The ALT-IMATE Tour added almost another month of dates in October. The tour will hit arenas and outdoor amphitheatres with the two iconic acts celebrating the 25th anniversary of their respective landmark albums ‘Throwing Copper’ and ‘Sixteen Stone’. In addition to these two massive headliners the band is also bringing along the talented Canadians in Our Lady Peace who was a huge name during the same time Live and Bush was coming up in the Alt rock scene.
