For the first time in nearly three years, Grammy Award-nominated US metal band Baroness will embark on a continent-wide, North American co-headlining tour with San Francisco post-black metal act Deafheaven this Spring 2019. Swiss avante-garde metal group Zeal & Ardor will perform as the opener. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10:00 AM (local time).
Baroness, consisting of John Baizley (vocals/guitar), Gina Gleason (guitar), Nick Jost (bass) and Sebastian Thomson (drums), are also currently working on their eagerly-awaited fifth studio album to follow up 2015’s highly critically-acclaimed ‘Purple.’
Deafheaven will be touring in support of their fourth studio album ‘Ordinary Corrupt Human Love,’ released earlier this year, from which the single “Honeycomb” received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Metal Performance.
