Icelandic classic rock trio THE VINTAGE CARAVAN recently announced the release of their upcoming 4th studio album ‘Gateways‘ (August 31st, 2018 through Nuclear Blast). The included tracks need to be presented live on the world’s stages, of course. That’s why the band is pleased to announce their supporting ‘2018 Gateways Tour’ today. Leading THE VINTAGE CARAVAN through 25 cities in 10 European countries, the run stretches from mid October to early December. Get ready to go full retro with the new tunes on the upcoming tour. But before all of you fans get to enjoy their live performances in Europe, something really exciting is up the sleeves of these three Nordic chaps. So, this European tour will be preceded by the release of the all new upcoming studio album, ‘Gateways‘ which comes out on August 31st, 2018 through Nuclear Blast Records, as mentioned earlier. ‘Gateways‘ will be the trio’s fourth studio product off the group’s classic arsenal, following 2015’s ‘Arrival‘.
Before the band brings back the classic nostalgia, here’s what the band had to say about their all new album,
“We are very proud to present our new album, ‘Gateways’! Recorded in the legendary Sundlaugin Studios in Iceland (owned by SIGUR ROS). Produced by Ian Davenport (BAND OF SKULLS, GAZ COOMBES). Overall we think this album feels more mature than the previous ones. We really pushed ourselves to make this album sound as great as possible. I won’t name any names but some people have been heard saying this is the greatest thing since sliced bread. We can’t wait for you all to hear it/taste it.“
