Every metalhead’s favourite television series has to be Metalocalypse, which is unfortunately well over for about four years now. It was one tough goodbye to one of the very few metal related television series we ever had. Still nostalgic about it ? Hold on there, we’ve got some good news up your feed, BRENDAN SMALL, the brain child and the man behind the epic television series Metalocalypse is back. Well, not with something along his previous lines, but with a pretty cool death metal song from his upcoming solo album, ‘Galaktikon II: Become The Storm‘. His new solo album shall see the light of the day on August 25th, via Megaforce Records. Just a few hours ago, the man himself took the curtains off his new song, ‘My Name Is Murder‘. DETHKLOK resemblance can be found in the song. Or not ? Check it out below and be your own judge.
BRENDAN SMALL talks about the record:
“This record is a combination of all the sounds I’ve been making throughout my creative life. It’s as heavy as I want it to be and melodic as I want it to be – it’s the bigger, darker record I wanted to hear. And what a way to celebrate my 10 year anniversary of making metal with Gene, Bryan and Ulrich, some of the best in the industry. I’m excited to have it live inside listeners’ heads and let their imaginations take over!“
Renowned drummer Gene Hoglan will be doing the skin work as usual, like he did on previous DETHKLOK records, while on bass Bryan Beller will be doing the honors. The album is being produced by Ulrich Wild afresh.
