A west coast version of ‘A Celebration of the Life and Art of Caleb Scofield‘ has been set for October 13 at The Wiltern in Los Angeles.
The benefit show features performances by Scofield’s bands: CAVE IN and OLD MAN GLOOM as well as longtime friends and collaborators, PELICAN and 27 (featuring CAVE IN’s Adam McGrath). The tribute also includes a one-time performance by the members of ISIS, who will play under the Celestial moniker, a nod to the influential outfit’s debut album of the same name. This is the band’s first performance since they played their final show in June of 2010.
