letlive. reunited for one last tour to say goodbye. The Sincerely Yours tour brought the band back home to Los Angeles for the final stop of the tour before one last Warped Tour. The band brought Beauty School Dropout, Sludge Mother, and Dying Breath along for the show at the Wiltern on Friday, October 24, 2025.

California hardcore thrashers Dying Breath opened the set. They packed their blistering 20-minute set with power. They managed to fit in a guest, bringing Beauty School Dropout singer Colie Hutzler out for an unexpected collab that surprisingly made total sense. Dying Breath’s self-titled 7-song EP is out now on Bandcamp and streaming services. The band is on the lineup for the 2025 For the Children benefit at the Belasco in downtown Los Angeles.

Up next was Sludge Mother. While a sludge metal band going on after Dying Breath would have been a perfect transition, this band is a nod to the glam rock website Metal Sludge and grunge rock. Going on after a hardcore band at a letlive. show may not have been the best gig for this band, but they’ll be doing some dates with A Static Lullaby in December. That may be a better audience for them. The latest single and video “Bloom” is out now.

After holding his own with Dying Breath, singer Colie Hutzler changed out of his hardcore outfit, a Speed hoodie, to take the stage with his power pop/rock/emo genre-weaving band Beauty School Dropout. BSD falls on the poppier side of the Warped Tour spectrum, but they go back with letlive.’s frontman Jason Aalon Butler. He appeared on their 2021 debut studio EP Boys Do Cry. Their latest album WHERE DID ALL THE BUTTERFLIES GO? is out now on Verswire (Pete Wentz and Mark Hoppus are partners). They’ll be at the Orlando Warped Tour stop and on tour with mgk and Wiz Khalifa in the spring.

Fresh off their viral When We Were Young performance, letlive. took the stage in Los Angeles again for the first time since 2017. This homecoming set didn’t start with Butler in the crowd or have some of Butler’s more physical antics. This set started with a humble Butler silently soaking up the love in the room. His own love and gratitude were written all over his face. He later told the crowd it may have been the best show of his entire career, and at that moment, he meant it.

Guitarists Jean Nascimento and Jeff Sahyoun were back on board for this farewell reunion. Sahyoun was celebrating his birthday which led to Butler leading the crowd with a sultry rendition of “Happy Birthday.” Skyler Acord from Issues handled bass duties. Ryan Seaman, currently playing with The Juliana Theory and Mercy Music, handled drums while sometimes letlive. tour drummer Sage Webber from Point North fills in with Bring Me the Horizon.

The soul-punk, post hardcore emos gave a more subdued, but arguably more emotional than usual, set for the hometown crowd. Butler’s dad, Aalon Butler of the 70’s soul group Aalon, took the stage at one point to express his pride. Butler gave him a tear-filled hug. The set was filled with that same intensity from start to finish. The last chance to see letlive. will be the November 15-16 Warped Tour stop in Orlando. Here’s to hoping for another reunion down the road, but for now, the band is releasing a 15th Anniversary Edition of Fake History at letliveperiod.com.
