[On As Lions] “We had a mission statement to each other and to the music. And that was to create the biggest, baddest hard rock we could, and on an almost cinematic scale.” – recalls Austin Dickson.

The London-based five-piece As Lions have recently spent time touring in North America with the likes of Shinedown (as direct support), Five Finger Death Punch and SIXX:A.M. The hugely successful US arena tour spanned 27 dates, including 13 sold out shows across the states and was followed on by festival appearances at Rock On The Range, Welcome To Rockville, and Northern Invasion. This coincided with the release of their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Selfish Age’ which was released on Better Noise Records earlier this year. After the hugely successful release of their single “Aftermath” back in 2016, the highly anticipated debut album reached the Top 12 in the US Mainstream Rock Billboard chart, firmly engraining As Lions as one of the most exciting British breakthrough rock acts across the USA and beyond.

As Lions was formed in 2015 with surviving members of metalcore act Rise To Remain. Fronted by vocalist Austin Dickson (who just happens to be the son of the almighty Iron Maiden front-man), with guitarist and keyboardist Conor O’Keefe, guitarist Will Homer, bassist Stefan Whiting and drummer Dave Fee; the band has already played many sold-out UK shows, as well as performing alongside metal heavyweights Trivium. The debut offering ‘Selfish Age’ was produced by the acclaimed Kane Churko (Five Finger Death Punch, Disturbed, In This Moment), and award-winning producer David Bendeth (Of Mice & Men, Paramore, Bring Me The Horizon) and is available here for physicals/bundles and is available to download digitally across all major platforms.
“Selfish Age blends hard-hitting rock with the melodic, soaring vocals of Austin Dickinson, creating a seamless album ranging in both emotion and sonic expression.” – Wilful Publicity
