With fun and suspense gearing up regarding AVANTASIA‘s next opus ‘Moonglow’, which is releasing on the February 15th, via Nuclear Blast, the band has released some fresh new music from the very same upcoming album. New Jersey heavy weights OVERKILL are just no where even in close proximity being done. They have a lot of unfinished business, and to take care of that the band has already announced its next studio album. The upcoming all new 19th studio record, ‘The Wings Of War‘ is dropping on February 22nd, 2019 via Nuclear Blast. And to get you a first taste of the oncoming thrash attack, Bobby Blitz and co. have their very first single in the form of a lyric video out from the album. It’s called, ‘Last Man Standing‘, and as intimidating as it sounds, it does stand up to its name for it is one hell of a typical thrash, true to its core attack. It’s a riff fiesta accompanied with satisfying fast and ruthless riffs, swift & technical drumming and of course, Bobby’s trademark raspy, awesome vocals.
Well, we have another new festival on the block here in the US and it is for all you punk people out there. A new three day camping, craft beer and punk rock festival called Camp Anarchy is all set to be unleashed next year starting from May 31st to June 2nd, 2019, in Legend Valley, Thornville, OH. Genre legends such as the likes of THE OFFSPRING, RANCID, NOFX, BAD RELIGION will be headlining the inaugural edition of this promising punk rock festival. Along with the aforementioned headliners, a host of some other crazy punk rockers will unite, namely, PENNYWISE, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, SICK OF IT ALL, X, THE BRONX, FEAR, PENNYWISE, LESS THAN JAKE and more.
New Year’s Eve is just around the corner and what better way to spend it by rocking it out to OzzFest 2018 with some of the greatest acts in modern rock music. New Year’s Eve in Los Angeles this year will see the man himself OZZY OSBOURNE headlining along with ROB ZOMBIE, MARILYN MANSON and a few more acts that are ready to entice you.
This 31st night, the show will take place at Los Angeles at the famed The Forum, which also includes an indoor and an outdoor large stage, some fun and frolic festivities, and some good food trucks. Joining the headliners are JONATHAN DAVIS, ZAKK SABBATH, BODY COUNT(first OzzFest debut performance), DEVILDRIVER and WEDNESDAY13. If this doesn’t convince you to get on those moshing boots, then I don’t know what will!
Dave Mustaine – Megadeth
We have been hearing about the upcoming MEGADETH record, that is the follow up to 2016’s grammy winning ‘Dystopia‘, ever since Dave Mustaine confirmed Guitar World that the new album is dropping in 2019, “absolutely. For sure“. So, guess we aren’t too far away from witnessing the 16th studio album from the thrash titans. All of this is turning out to be even more truer as Dave Mustaine yesterday teased us a small snippet of Dirk Verbeuren practicing his parts for an unnamed song, which is most likely to be included in the upcoming album. The video shared on Dave’s twitter account was captioned as, “The Cheshire Cat is smiling! Enjoy a lil tease. @Megadeth @VerbeurenDirk #Album16″ The sessions are being co-produced by Chris Rakestraw, who previously worked on 2016’s “Dystopia” disc.”

Howdie?! It’s been really long since I published any piece here, but I have a breather now. Anyways, so here we are back again with another piece of bucketlist. Today we have a promising up and coming new rock band along the lines of pop punk, AFTER THE CALM from Phoenix, Arizona. Formed in 2014, the band consists of five members. Kody Rattler (Drums), David Nuñez (Guitar), and Henry Cota Jr.(Bass). Jonathan Habermacher (Guitar) joined the band shortly after the initial meeting. The search for a singer was long, but with the luck of a Craigslist ad, the band had added Logan Miracle (Vocals) as the final piece to their puzzle.

It’s that time of the month again, yes the Bucketlist segment is back with another killer band opening up about the bands they’d love to see so bad. For today’s edition we have THE DARKEST HEARTS from Tennessee, a DIY hard rock band that echoes characteristics of grunge with strong, melodic pop rock vocals against almost heavy metal instrumentals and organic tones. So, since this one we found to be an amazing band, we thought why not shoot them up our bucketlist question and see what acts they feature on their list. Without beating around the bush much, let’s see which bands they are dying to see.
As the name suggests, GODLESS are an unforgiving and ruthless death metal quartet from Hyderabad, India. Back after a short German tour, which also featured the band’s very first show at the mecca of metal, Wacken Open Air. The Wacken show left the crowd shouting for more wholesome Indian death metal. So here they are back quenching your thirst for more uptight, fearless and devastating death metal with a new single titled, “From Beyond” off of their upcoming EP, ‘Swarm‘. The sophomore EP is a follow up of the hugely successful debut EP, ‘Centuries of Decadence‘. The all new single is a blistering piece of aural assault, which will definitely leave the listener picking his jaws from the floor. High speed, technical and utter brute force, that is the new GODLESS track for you, if you wanna put it down in words, although they’re not enough to describe until you put on your headphones.
Brisbane Melodic Hardcore legends WILDHEART are dropping their latest and most searing cut from their brand new EP, ‘We Are‘.
