Progressive doom metallers Pallbearer has announced a string off show dates that will occur in late September. This “mini-tour” will include performances at Heavy Mountain II Fest in Asheville, NC with Corrosion of Conformity, Torche, and Windhand, a show with Kayo Dot in Lexington, KY, and additional dates with Destroyer of Light. Recently, Pallbearer has partnered with Nuclear Blast to bring their upcoming record to a larger worldwide audience. The band has also released the single, “Atlantis” as part of Sub Pop Records’ “Sub Pop Singles Club”. Listen here. 

This four-piece Arkansas band first came onto the doom metal scene with their debut Sorrow and Extinction. The four piece that is Torche made their late night television debut on Wednesday, Aug. 14, performing “Admission” on Late Night with Seth Meyers. The appearance follows the July release of the band’s fifth album, Admission, via Relapse Records. The 11-song album has been met with widespread critical acclaim since the albums release on July 12th.

French groove rockers GOJIRA seem to love the U.S. and aren’t leaving anytime soon. Already on a hike with METALLICA‘s WorldWired Tour, the band have recently released another leg of tour dates. But this time, they are on the driving seat as they set to embark on a headlining U.S. Tour with support from sunny Florida act TORCHE and CODE ORANGE, American hardcore unit from Pennsylvania. The tour is all set to take off on a high note on October 2nd at the House of Blues in Cleveland, OH before putting the brakes on in Sacramento, CA on 21st October. Artist presale tickets for the new headline dates will be available today at 2:00 PM local time, followed by a Spotify pre-sale on Wednesday, August 9th at 10:00 AM eastern time and finally a venue / promoter pre-sale which begins Thursday, August 10th at 10:00 AM local time.
