“…this was definitely one of the best tours in our career” – Aborted
32 back-to-back shows, in 32 days – after annihilating Europe with their sold-out “Hell Over Europe” tour, Aborted brought “TerrorVision” to the UK and Ireland for a whole week of goremageddon in support of the brand new album*. With Montréal’s extreme metal titans Cryptopsy as special guests, hot from the release of ‘The Book of Suffering – Tome II’, and support from the UK’s own Ingested and Unfathomable Ruination, this was to be the ultimate deathfest, and we caught it all on the opening night!
“TerrorVision”is out now on Century Media Records and can be purchased here.
“UK fiends! We have some exciting news! The tour gods smileth thine way and will let us annihilate you lovely c**ts with our good friends of Cryptopsy, Ingested and Unfathomable Ruination !! Come on out and party with us like it’s 1999 or something.”
With Aborted’s “Hell Over Europe” tour almost a complete sell-out, they now turn their attention to decimate the UK and Ireland with arguably the most brutal death metal line-up of the year! The Belgian Death/grinders will be joined by special guests, the extreme metal titans Cryptopsy, with their fresh independent offering ‘The Book of Suffering – Tome II’. Further support comes from the UK’s own slam kings Ingested with their first show back on British soil after their hugely successful North American headline “Evisceratour”, and London’s own brutal outfit Unfathomable Ruination. The tour begins tonight at The Dome in Tufnell Park London with the last few tickets remaining! Let’s show the world what the UK is made of – let the carnage begin! Continue reading →

This month’s state isAlabama!
If you watched the famous movie ”’Forrest Gump” and absolutely loved it you will most centainly be into (or be freaked out) by the slamming act The Forrest Gump Mile High Marathon. It consists of Bobby on the bass, Indiana Jonas and Forrest on the guitar and last but not least John on the drums and ”Little Chocolate” on vocals. While this all may sound very stupid the disgusting vocals in combination with the nasty riffs are nothing but perfectly on point. They are one of those bands you listen to for fun after a night out while cracking open a cold beer or 2. So with that being said, let’s get into it!
After hearing ‘You Owe You Pay’ back in 2017 I began to hop on the hype train and follow the tracks all the way from their demo in 2003 to their later released records ‘Grotesque First Action’, ‘Carnal Pleasures’, ‘Chopping Off The Head’ and their 2013 album ‘On Top Of The Food Chain’ and man oh man what has it been a brutal and insane ride so far. And it is just getting started it seems! Carnal Decay is back and about to release a full EP called ‘When Push Comes To Shove’ on the 20th of July through Rising Nemesis Records and it is mind blowing. So let’s not waste anymore time and get right into it!
Double-Barrel Vasectomy is one of the many projects from the one and only Anthony Leasgang, we have written about him multiple times now but I have to say this project is something different and most definitely slamming. The project had been alive for some time now and finally Anthony (with the help of Eli Vincent and Rich Fahringer) had decided to fire up the old engine and start racing. So put your seat belt on because we are about to kick off!
“It’s been a long f**king time!” shouted front man Alex Erian. In fact, it’s been 11 years since Despised Icon have graced our shores with a headline set – long since 2007’s phenomenal co-headline UK/European tour with Misery Index, Annotations For An Autopsy and Beneath The Massacre. Whilst they have played the UK as recently as 2016, tonight marked a monumental occasion, firmly solidifying the Montreal metallers legacy and dominance over the Deathcore scene. For fans, this headline set may have been a long time coming but ‘The Beast’ is back and fully reawakened!
Following immediately on from their sold-out show in Antwerp, tonight’s performance at The Dome in central London marked the first leg of the UK section of this momentous comeback tour. With only a handful of tickets left on the door of this 500 capacity venue, and subsequent shows at Birmingham and Manchester expected to sell out, it was clear that everyone here was about to witness something very special. With support combining the best tech, hardcore and slam, whoever put this line-up together must be some kind of god-tier genius – for joining alongside Despised Icon were Vulvodynia, Archspire and the UK’s very own Malevolence. Missing this show was not an option!
After the late 2017 release of ‘Parasitic Devourment’ came out I was instantly hooked with the oh so brutal waves which Catatonic Profanation brings but after hearing his up and coming record ‘Euphoric Dismemberment’ I was totally stunned. Check out why!
Homicidal Epilogue is a two piece brutal deathgrind act from Melbourne, Australia that just dropped their first single ”Repulsive Arousal” after the release of their demo in April and it is gore at its finest! The demo alone would already blow up your stereo and make your whole neighbourhood question what on Earth you are listening to but after they have heard the song you are about to witness they are for sure moving out. Check it out below!
Signs Of The Swarm is your absolute go to slamming deathcore band, they have reigned since their debut album ‘Senseless Order’ from last year and they continue to do so with the upcoming album ‘The Disfigurement of Existence’. The album is set to release in its entirety on the 3th of November and will be featured on Unique Leader Records.
