Tommy Victor started Prong back in the late 80’s and quickly established themselves among the hardcore/punk ranks with their EP Primitive Origins and quickly followed that up with their first full length, Force Fed. Over the next 2 decades Tommy would steer Prong into various sonic territories, all while solidifying the bands “sound”. New York Hardcore legends Agnostic Front have announced the release of the twelfth studio album, Get Loud!. The album is due out for release on November 8th via Nuclear Blast. In celebration of the release, Agnostic Front is also premiering the first single off the album with the lyric video, “Spray Painted Walls”.
Vocalist Roger Miret comments, “So excited for everyone to hear our new record GET LOUD! I really love the songs and it feels like a great mixture of what we have done our whole career! We put 100% into this from top to bottom! Everyone involved from start to finished just killed it! See you in the pit to celebrate these songs soon!”
There is nothing better than watching the two iconic bands Helmet and Prong play to their hometown fans in New York City. I was fortunate enough to be in The Big Apple when these two powerhouse bands were playing at the Highline Ballroom. I arrived early, as I always do, and managed to catch Prong during sound check playing “Beg to Differ” which was just a tease for what they had in store for the rest of the night. There were only a few people queuing outside so I thought it was going to be a pretty quiet night, I was completely wrong! When the doors opened people started arriving so I got straight up the front to guarantee a spot to capture photos of the band and within 15 minutes the venue filled up. Continue reading →
American power trio PRONG has premiered the official music video for “Forced Into Tolerance,” off of their 2017 released “Zero Days” via Steamhammer Records. The band’s chief Tommy Victor explains the rebellious nature of the new music video, as follows,

American Power Trio PRONG has announced the continuation of their Zero Daystour with a series of West Coast dates alongside POWERFLO. After a solid year of touring with the likes of TESTAMENT, OBITUARY, SEPULTURA, and EXODUS, as well as filling key slots on the European Summer Festival Circuit, the band now brings it back home to the states, including a highly coveted, co-headlining run with HELMET.
