The jack of all trades when it comes to melo-death, ARCH ENEMY is back with yet another trademark and beautiful music video for their second single ‘The Eagle Flies Alone‘ off the upcoming album ‘Will To Power‘, which is due out on September 8 via Century Media Records worldwide and True Trooper Entertainment in Japan. The video was directed by Patric Ullaeus, who has previously helped bands like IN FLAMES, AMARANTHE, DIMMU BORGIR, EVERGREY etc. with his artistic and visionary directing skills. The video looks cool and everything that has went in to the making of this video is just epic and awe inspiring. From production, which I would say is one of the most classy, exhilarating and of grandeur nature ARCH ENEMY has ever done, to the lighting, camera angles and close up shots, no stones have been left un-turned, everything in the video has been done to pin point perfection.
Tampa Bay Florida Death Metal Godfathers OBITUARY have shared the official live video accompanying ‘Sentence Day‘ off the band’s self-titled full-length album. The video was filmed in stunning 4k by Magnetar Studios at several locations on the band’s headlining tour with GRUESOME earlier this year. Watch OBITUARY perform ‘Sentence Day‘ below.
The band comments on the video and song: “We are super excited to bring you guys another music video from the new album. This video was extra fun for the band as we invited James to ride along with us for a couple shows and get onstage/offstage and crowd footage then his entire crew met up with us and filmed a show with multi-camera angles. ‘Sentence Day‘ is one of our favorite songs on the album and definitely a fan favorite so we are proud to bring you guys this video. Enjoy!“
TRIVIUM has returned with a new track titled, ‘The Sin And The Sentence‘ the first new music from the group since their celebrated 2015 LP, ‘Silence In The Snow‘. TRIVIUM will return with a new album this fall, with more details to be announced in the coming weeks. Matt Heafy and co’s new single sounds heavy, furiously fast and the usual groovy that the band carries along with it as a trademark.
In the meantime, the Orlando, Florida-based band will spend this August lighting up Europe, starting tomorrow which includes appearances at such hard rock and metal festivals as Germany’s Wacken Open Air, Austria’s Jolly Roger Festival, Poland’s Woodstock Festival and more along with headline dates featuring support from Obituary and Bury Tomorrow (See attached itinerary). Since their inception in 2002, over the course of 5 studio albums and hundreds of live performances, WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM have refracted Black Metal through their own cascadian prism. Their songs explore the hidden world of magic that one accesses through dreams, visions and music and the resulting sounds are intimately linked to the wild lands of the Pacific Northwest. Now, a portal into the dreamworld of WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM opens again with their forthcoming sixth LP, ‘Thrice Woven‘ – a glorious return to the blazing and furious Black Metal that they alone can create. Today, the band has unveiled a magical new music video for a segment of the album’s first single, “Born from the Serpent’s Eye.”
Probably one of the biggest cards on the deck of melodic death metal, ARCH ENEMY has released their new official music video for the single, ‘The World Is Yours‘ from their all new upcoming tenth album in the catalog, entitled, ‘Will To Power‘ due out on September 8 through Century Media Records and via True Trooper Entertainment in Japan. Holy fuck! DYING FETUS has time and again upped their ante with every thing they do. In this new music video, ‘Die With Integrity’, they have just shown how brutal and unforgiving they can be. The music video is directed by Mitch Massie who has previously also worked with CATTLE DECAPITATION‘s equally gory and sadistic music video, ‘Forced Gender Reassignment‘, along with WHITECHAPEL and JOHN FRUM. If you have an acute aversion towards gore you better not go through this. This music video is extremely brutal, gory and vile!
Previously we reviewed the new upcoming DYING FETUS album ‘Wrong One To Fuck With‘ that will be out on June 23 via Relapse Records. You can go and check that out here. Continue reading

American heavy metal veterans METAL CHURCH who formed back in the 1980s and considered a vital influence on the genesis of thrash metal have been going strong with the occasional hiccups down the years in between. They released their latest album titled rightly as, ‘XI‘ in 2016. The five piece outfit has released a new music video of the song called ‘Reset‘, from their ‘XI‘ album. This album is also the first recording where you can treat your ears to Mike Howe’s epic high screeching vocals, as he makes a return to the group after a long time since 1995, 20 years after leaving the same band.
