We are back with another Kings Of Strings and this time it is the mighty Nik! From this week on we will be featuring a guitarist/bassist every saturday, so keep your eyes open and let’s get right into it!
Michael has always remained one of my favorite guitarists. He has taken part of bands like X-COPS and Death Piggy but he is mostly known for being the rhythm guitarist for the notorious Gwar. But, without further ago, let’s get right into this weeks’ Strings Of Kings!
Shadow Of Intent is a symphonic death core band you may have heard of before, after the release of their first full album ‘Primordial’ people went crazy. It is melodic, symphonic, brutal and it is filled with riffs that will melt your face off. It is all you ever wanted but more. Prior to this masterpiece Shadow Of Intent came together to create the 2014 EP ‘Inferi Sententia’ which touches more on the black and death metal side of things. If this wasn’t enough awesomeness already prepare yourself because on the 28th of April this year the album ‘Reclaimer’ landed on planet Earth and it is even better than you could ever imagine. I was sure that nothing could ever beat ‘Primordial’ but they proved me wrong. They are so ahead of the game it is unbelievable, it is inhuman how fast a band can grow and mature in such a small amount of time. They truly are all artists worth showcasing but since this segment is all about guitar players, let’s start off with back up vocalist and most importantly guitarist Chris Wiseman!

Today’s Kings Of Strings will be about guitar mastermind Seth Blake from metalcore band Wage War! Talking about the band, they have released 2 albums, their debut album ‘Blueprints’ (which is legendary) and their latest 2017 album ‘Deadweight’. I, and many others, didn’t think they could ever surpass their debut but they managed to make an album that is beyond words. They haven’t been around for that long yet they are quickly becoming one of the best metalcore acts this world has ever known. They aren’t bringing something unique to the table but instead they took all the beautiful and most loved parts of metalcore and stuffed it into 2 mind blowing records. For anyone that has the ability to witness them live, do it! You won’t regret it, they are a must watch. But enough of the band, let’s get talking about why Seth is a one of the guitar kings! Before we go into the intense guitar skills and his very interesting way of playing we will first talk a little more about the band he is in, Humanity’s Last Breath!
This week we are featuring the almighty guitarist Andreas Kisser. He is mostly known for being the lead guitarist and back up vocalist for the Brazilian thrash metal band Sepultura but you might also know him from projects such as Hail!, Sexoturica and Brasil Rock Stars. Get right in!
For my fourth King of Strings I will be spotlighting Dan Crisafulli of the band Source. They are a Progressive metal band based in Boulder, Colorado and within a short 2 ½ years have already landed some impressive tours – most notably with HellYeah and In Flames last year. This may actually become my favorite spotlight because he’s the kind of diamond in the rough every music fan hopes to discover at some point.
