After spending much of the time in controversy last year and first half of this year, Polish death metal giants DECAPITATED are back on the driving wheel of what they do the best. With their latest album released just over a year back, the quartet are back with an all new crushing music video, “Kill The Cult“. The track comes from their latest album ‘Anticult‘, which was released July 7, 2017 via Nuclear Blast Records. The clip was directed by Lukasz Jaszak, who previously directed the music video for “Never” and created the cover art for DECAPITATED‘s three most recent albums.
Finally after all this while of tension and anxiety having faced by the metal community, especially fans of DECAPITATED, the band has issued an official statement on their behalf. Defending themselves against some serious gang rape allegations they have been facing, the band issued a statement saying that, “we are not kidnappers, rapists, or criminals“, just over an hour or two ago on Facebook.
Polish death metal outfit DECAPITATED on Tuesday afternoon made an appearance in a Los Angeles court, against the allegations of gang rape and kidnapping a woman on the night of August 31, after they were finished performing at downtown Spokane, Washington. All four members of DECAPITATED — Michal Lysejko, 31, Waclaw Kieltyka, 35, Rafal Piotrowski, 31, and Hubert Wiecek, 30 — showed up in the LA court yesterday.
The Spokane Police Department‘s Special Victim’s Unit (SVU) are also looking for further witnesses to account for what may have happened on the night of the alleged assault by all the four members of the band inside their tour bus which was parked outside The Pin concert venue.
All four members of the Polish death metal band DECAPITATED have been accused of gang-raping a woman in the bathroom of their tour bus after their August 31 concert in Spokane, Washington.
Yesterday shocking news had surfaced that Waclaw Kieltyka, Rafal Piotrowski, Michael Lysejko and Hubert Wiecekhad been arrested in Santa Ana, California, and held on charges of first-degree kidnapping. And just a day after when we all were hoping the allegations to be untrue, things just took a nosedive for worse, as further allegations of a gang rape are being thrown at the Polish band.
Decapitated has been reigning since the year 2000, that year they also released their first full-length album ‘Winds Of Creation’. But, 1 album wasn’t enough for them so the album ‘The First Damned’ came to claim its righteous spot. After that they have released 4 beautifully dark albums, ‘Nihility’, ‘The Negation’, ‘Organic Hallucinosis’ and last but certainy not least ‘Carnival is Forever’, this album created a spot on the record label Nuclear Blast for these guys. The 2014 album ‘Blood Mantra’ is for sure one of my favorite releases from that year, this album marked their sound’s turn around. Roughly 3 years later they came back with another crazy fast album ‘Anticult’. It got out today, on the 7th of July. If you love their old sound combined with fast riffs then this is the album for you!
Polish death metallers DECAPITATED are very well known in the death metal circuit and have raised hell where ever they have set their blasphemous foots on. With the seventh album, ‘Anticult‘ lurking just around the corner, to be released on Nuclear Blast Records on July 7th this year, the heavy weights have released yet another follow up official music video to ‘Never‘, from their upcoming album, which is ‘Earth Scar‘. With the release of their last record just over three years ago, ‘Blood Mantra‘, which was an intense hit, it is evident that DECAPITATED are on top of their game now. The two already released singles sound crushing and groove oriented as hell, I am already rooting in for this album. How about you ? Continue reading →
Soulfly is usually always touring with amazing bands. Even a Cavalera family reunion is a great touring package aka Maximum Cavalera Tour from the past. The family tree has amassed several kick ass bands. On this particular night we would be partaking in not on Soulfly, but Swedish metal legends Soilwork, Shattered Sun, Earthside and local Knoxville natives Scent of Remains. There was a couple downfalls on this night that led to some heartbreak. First and foremost it was very disappointing that Decapitated was unable to get their visas and thus not being able to get onto U.S. soil. So can we all please raise our middle fingers to the guy in immigration that wanted to be a douche and prevent them from making the tour. We were highly looking forward to banging our heads to their particular brand of metal. With an already early start time newcomers to the tour package Earthside and Scent of Remains played before we even made it to Knoxville’s premiere music venue The International. Those bands got a start a little sooner than even listed for the event. Although we missed those bands I will tell you now that Scent of Remains is a brutal band that will be a nationally touring act in their own time. So get your ass to one of their shows you will thank me later. Continue reading →
