The Final Cross Country Vans Warped Tour Set For 2018

“Today, with many mixed feelings, I am here to announce that next year will be the final, full cross-country run of the Vans Warped Tour. I sit here reflecting on the tour’s incredible history, what the final run means for our community, and look forward to what’s to come as we commemorate the tour’s historic 25th anniversary in 2019.”

These is what the founder of The Vans Warped Tour, Kevin Lyman had to say yesterday(read full statement HERE). The mobile festival that had been running for well over two decades across the entire world has come to its final most tour next year, the farewell tour that is. When it started back in 1995, it was mainly a punk rooted festival and over the years the festival expanded its taste on every spectrum of music thus making it an exceptionally well received summer extravaganza among the teenage and young people of the nation. Warped has helped a lot of artists shoot to fame and now are pretty big fishes in the pond. Punk(or pop punk) bands like NOFX, BAD RELIGION, SICK OF IT ALL, BLINK-182MY CHEMICAL ROMANCEFALL OUT BOY and THE MIGHTY MIGHTY BOSSTONES, along with others from across the genre palette like KATY PERRYBLACK EYED PEAS, and other pop and hip hop sensations have been featured in what is one of the biggest running summer festivals.

Next year Las Vegas Death Fest will roll into it’s tenth year of existence, and, shall celebrate a decade’s anniversary of punishing and relentless death metal. As Las Vegas Death Fest heads onto their remarkable feat of completing 10 years, they will host the most brutal bands from around the world and from the United States as well. It’s just been four months since the previous edition got over, and they’ve already let out next year’s epic line-up. And, holy cow, it’s massive! With a line-up as big as this, there’s little chance that people descending on the festival will have time left in their schedules to enjoy the city’s many great casinos for which it owes its fame. Perhaps they could check out the online casinos (click here to see one) from the comfort of their hotel rooms or homes after two days of heavy rocking.

With a plethora of utterly brutal and pulverizing death metal acts such as the likes of INCANTATION, DEVOURMENT, LITURGY, CEPHALIC CARNAGE, DEFEATED SANITY, MALIGNANCY, plus including even more than a whopping 40 number of death metal bands on the bill, Las Vegas Death Fest promises to bring another whirlwind of carnage, blood and destruction to the sin city. And since it’s the 10th anniversary of the reputed fest, the promoters have something cool riled up for the fans, in the form of a special surprise guest appearance, only to be seen at LVDF X!

When I heard that legendary thrash metal band Sepultura would be playing near me in Hedon Zwolle I instantly got my tickets to the show. They weren’t coming alone, they brought death metal band Aborted with supporting band Killing Cult Society. Even though I had never heard Killing Cult Society I had high hopes because you don’t become the support band for Sepultura for nothing! Before we go any further I need to talk about the venue, Hedon Zwolle. This has been my second time being there and yet again right after the doors were open you felt welcomed. Everything was well organized and the staff was friendly and easy to talk to. I am really happy about this venue and I am glad that I am lucky enough to live close to it. Already looking forward to being there again!
