Review: BURY TOMORROW – Cannibal [Album Stream]

Bury Tomorrow‘s 2018 album ‘Black Flame’ was phenomenal. It was the band’s third consecutive UK Top 40 album.  The band hail from the UK and are comprised of Dani Winter-Bates on vocals, Jason Cameron on vocals/rhythm guitar, Kristan Dawson on lead guitar, backing vocals, Davyd Winter-Bates on bass and Adam Jackson on drums.

They are a fearsome mix of brutal Death Metal with a huge mixer of melodic vignettes.  They are very technical, but never forget that hooks need to be applied also.

Bury Tomorrow are a British metalcore band formed in 2006 in Southampton, Hampshire, England. The band is composed of five members; lead vocalist Daniel Winter-Bates, rhythm guitarist and singer Jason Cameron, bassist Davyd Winter-Bates, drummer Adam Jackson and lead guitarist Kristan Dawson, who replaced founding guitarist Mehdi Vismara in 2013. Bury Tomorrow have released five studio albums, their most recent being ‘Black Flame’, released on 13 July 2018.

My memories of 2018 are inextricably linked to amazing music.  Life has been fairly unremarkable, but for the sonic highways I have followed which led to me writing for the great Metal Nexus site. Thank you Fist, for taking me on and for the whole team being like family. I am blessed that I can creatively vent through this fantastic site.

This year has seen my love for Metal music being well and truly filled. One of the best touring lineups to hit Bristol in quite a while. Bury Tomorrow, 36 Crazyfists, Cane Hill and the Tokyo based ensemble Crystal Lake are currently touring the U.K. and made a stop at the SWX in Bristol on December 11th. After 2 years the silent metalcore kings are back to release another great album after releasing some of the records that created the genre such as ‘Portraits’ and ‘The Union Of Crowns’. It will get released on the 13th of July this year via Music For Nations. It is everything from ‘Runes’ and ‘Earthbound‘ combined and repolished into this beautiful piece of art we now know as ‘Black Flame’!
