A rainy evening in Johnson City, TN is as good of a day as any for a metal and rock filled day. Oklahoma City-based rock band Kirra joins Nothing More on 2018 North American tour. The tour kicks off onFebruary 3, starting in Little Rock, Arkansas, and finishes onMarch 3, ending on the West Coast in Sacramento, California.
Kirra tours in support of their debut album, ‘Run Away’(2016),the remastered version of their single, “Downfall” (2017), and their latest single, “My Disease” (2017), all available via Pavement Entertainment. ‘Run Away’has a little of everything in it lyrically, but more specifically makes a commentary about the music industry. “We wanted to make a statement about overproduction in the music industry today. We wanted to prove you don’t need a bunch of tricks to writing good songs,” says lead guitarist Daxton Page. “I feel ‘Run Away’ was a direct reflection of where we were musically and personally at that moment in time.” Continue reading →
