KADAVAR Release New Single/Video “The Devil’s Master” and Announce Pre-Order Info for ‘For the Dead Travel Fast’

German stoner rock trio KADAVAR will release their fifth studio album, For the Dead Travel Fast (Nuclear Blast), on October 11. In advance of this highly anticipated work, the band has just released a video for the lead single, “The Devil’s Master.”

The opening track on For the Dead Travel Fast, “The Devil’s Master” is a dark, epic burner that, according to drummer Christoph “Tiger” Bartelt, “is about the worst ideas of the people, the attraction of horror and the seductive scent of the disreputable. Just as it is all too human to feel at the mercy of his fears, so comprehensible it seems to give way to the fascination of evil in the face of death.” In the accompanying video, a small-scale spaghetti western featuring French actress Lucie Aron, “everyone is fighting everyone,” says guitarist/vocalist Christoph “Lupus” Lindemann. “There are cutthroats who don’t trust each other trying to survive in the desert. They are hunted by their enemy, a violent priest who enslaves a young lady, who both of the cowboys admire. In the end, there won’t be any winners…”

Pre-orders for For the Dead Travel Fast are now available via Nuclear Blast, and KADAVAR’s recently announced European dates with special guests HÄLLAS and PABST are listed below.
