Fireball – Fuelling The Fire Euro Tour: FLOGGING MOLLY, THE BRONX & More

Friday 2nd November 2018; Tickets for the hottest punk rock tour in town are selling fast! The first of two nights in London and the Bristol leg of the tour are now SOLD OUT, and the bands are gearing up for an explosive 10 date tour when they hit the road next month.

Hitting the road throughout December 2018, the ‘Fireball – Fuelling The Fire Tour’ will feature a star studded lineup of the best in punk music, with The Bronx recently joining previously announced headliners in Celtic-punk legends Flogging Molly, So Cal punk veterans Face to Face, and the Glasgow pop-punks from Fireball’s Hottest Band 2018 Lost in Stereo. Tour favorite and friend of Fireball, DJ Matt Stocks, will also return again this year, providing the soundtrack between acts.

This is a tour you will absolutely not want to miss. Two of the tour stops are already sold out, that should be ample proof enough that this is a must see tour. The Irish-American seven-piece Flogging Molly are a Celtic punk band from the City Of Angels, Los Angeles, California is the ultimate band to see while chugging a pint of beer. The band has been together for 21 years and are still going strong. They are touring in support of their 2017 album ‘Life Is Good’. The Bronx is a newer band in comparison the aforementioned band. They formed in 2002 and have been making a name for themselves ever since. With former Queens of the Stone Age drummer Joey Castillo now in the fold the band is stronger than ever. Last year seen the band perform at various U.S. festivals including Carolina Rebellion and a U.S. tour with Clutch, Red Fang and Fireball Ministry. Similar to Flogging Molly this band keeps the adrenaline flowing with non-stop energy from the moment their set starts until the mic drops. Another product of California Face to Face formed in the early 90’s. When punk rock was losing ground to grunge these guys kept punk alive. With 11 albums in their arsenal the band has plenty of material to please fans that want to hear some organic old school punk rock. Now we get to the young bloods of the lineup, Lost In Stereo. The Glasgow, Scotland based group that won Fireball’s Hottest Band of 2018. The band has already shown they have the chops and have earned their slot on this lineup and playing alongside these punk legends will only help them climb the ladder in punk rock dominance. Don’t show up late because Lost In Stereo is hungry for success and they are going to bring everything they got to the stage.

Whittled down from over 350 entries to this year’s competition, the final 10 regional bands were selected from the 30 successful winners of the first round at the recently-held regional heats across O2 Academy venues around the country.

Each date was judged by a specialist panel comprised of members from Kerrang! Magazine, Fireball and Academy Events, alongside local music industry experts in each city. The overall winning band of the competition will be selected at the end of the tour from the 10 regional finalists, and will be crowned Fireball’s Hottest Band 2019, appearing as the opening artist for the entire tour next year.
