FACING THE GALLOWS Release Video For “Doom II” From Upcoming Album!

Metal is a global phenomenon and has truly proven what Anthrax in the 1980s said, “Spreading the disease“. Its everywhere! Guess where we got this video release from? South Africa! Yeah metal is not just limited to Europe and America with white dudes chugging down bottles of beer and whiskey. So bringing to you FACING THE GALLOWS‘ all new music video for their single, “Doom II” from their upcoming album, ‘Dead Mindset‘. The album is slated for its release on the 20th February 2018. Doom II was shot by their DOP Mike Bell of Capitol Collective and directed and edited by guitarist Chase Beynon.

The track is a hard hitting, pissed off and high speed product from the SA metal outfit. You can easily tell the song has hardcore, metalcore and thrash metal influences and so does the band reflect the same. Call it what you want, but it is for sure that the track will leave you spellbound once when you give it a spin. It definitely has the chops to survive in today’s unforgiving music industry.

The lyrics in the song is a portrayal of how we should all live in the moment and for yourself, which is evident in the wild party scenes that the video shows. If you’re a party animal, this is your jam! Here is what guitarist, Chase Beynon has to say about the same,

Simply put, the song is about getting OTJ (on the jol). The lyrics speak about living for yourself in the present, and going balls to the wall partying. We tried to capture this by shooting a full blown, good ol fashioned, house party filled with our closest friends that have supported us since the beginning. Music is something that is meant to be shared, and we feel incredibly grateful to have so many amazing friends and family that love and support the music we have written. Thank you to our bassist Ray and his house mates for letting us turn their humble home into a film set/party/show we will never forget! We hope people will get OTJ with us, and feel the vibe and excitement we felt when filming this music video.

About Rattlehead

Hi, Rattlehead here. I'm from India, and I'm obsessed with metal of all sub-genres but mostly into thrash and death. I also love other genres, like jazz, funk, rock, some punk, a bit of blues, some country, but well, metal is where I feel at home. I'm always on the run discovering new music. Fanboying Megadeth since I was 13. Love to talk about metal, sports and a little bit of everything here and there. I also love dissing your god, I love food, seeing metal gigs, traveling and also a metal merch and record collector. I hope you like what I write and the music I suggest you. Please do share if you like. Cheers and stay heavy \m/
