MOTÖRHEAD had a special knack for covering songs of their favourite artists and giving it a pure rock and roll and classic heavy metal touch to it. Every album had one song or the other which Lemmy and co. liked to morph it to their own taste and it would undoubtedly make an excellent rendition of the original song. Hell, sometimes even better than the original. MOTÖRHEAD recently announced the release of their upcoming covers compilation album, ‘Under Cöver‘ – a collection of some of their best covers.

Today, MOTÖRHEAD have released a never-before-heard cover and music video of David Bowie‘s timeless classic “Heroes“(see below). The music video features massive performance footage and heartwarming behind the scenes images and video of the band. Recorded during the ‘Bad Magic‘ sessions in 2015 by Cameron Webb, “Heroes” was one of the last songs MOTÖRHEAD recorded together.

Heavy Metal pioneers ACCEPT are back in the game with a new studio album! The record entitled ‘The Rise Of Chaos‘, will be unleashed this Friday, on August 4th, 2017! This will be the band’s 4th studio release through Nuclear Blast and continues the tradition of its three predecessors – ‘Blood Of The Nations‘, ‘Stalingrad‘, and ‘Blind Rage‘ – with grandeur and precision.

On Thursday (Aug, 3rd), ACCEPT will celebrate the album’s live premiere exclusively with a special show at Wacken Open Air, Germany. The set will consist of three parts and can be seen worldwide on a live stream.

How about a femme fatal double attack? This is probably one of the very few times where two female led bands have toured together. Italian rockers LACUNA COIL are joining hands with new born Swiss folk metal outfit CELLAR DARLING consisting of former ELUVEITIE members Anna Murphy(Vocals & Hurdy Gurdy), Ivo Henzi(Guitars & Bass) and Merlin Sutter(Drums). ‘Delirium‘ was the last and eighth studio album released by the Italian outfit last year in May 2016, and since then they have been touring extensively in support of the same. Now they hop on the same bus with CELLAR DARLING who just released their ground breaking debut album almost over a month ago in June titled, ‘This Is The Sound‘ released through Nuclear Blast Records. The Swiss trio also have been playing a lot of shows in and around Europe in the wake of their new album support, even festival shows and an exclusive concert with EVANESCENCE in Pratteln and their chart success (#16 in the Swiss album charts, #19 in the UK Rock Charts…) only spurred them on. So this autumn, the founders of the New Wave of Folk Rock will not only support DELAIN on several dates, but also join the Italian Gothfathers LACUNA COIL on their extensive European tour!

TRIVIUM and ARCH ENEMY are excited to announce plans for a co-headlining tour across North America later this Fall. Featuring support from English metalcore outfit WHILE SHE SLEEPS and New Jersey deathcore act FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY, the tour will kick off on October 27 in Orlando, FL and make its way across the U.S. and Canada before finishing on December 6 in Houston, TX.

It has been about three years since ‘Peace At All Costs’, so that means it’s time for new music from hard rock band Otherwise! Yesterday, the band dropped their first new songs featuring new members Tony Carboney (Bass) and Brian Medeiros (Drums). “Angry Heart” and “Close to the Gods” are some of their heaviest songs yet and should have fans pumped to see what the Patrick brothers are about to deliver. Tampa Bay Florida Death Metal Godfathers OBITUARY have shared the official live video accompanying ‘Sentence Day‘ off the band’s self-titled full-length album. The video was filmed in stunning 4k by Magnetar Studios at several locations on the band’s headlining tour with GRUESOME earlier this year. Watch OBITUARY perform ‘Sentence Day‘ below.

TRIVIUM Share New Music Video For “The Sin And The Sentence”

TRIVIUM has returned with a new track titled, ‘The Sin And The Sentence‘ the first new music from the group since their celebrated 2015 LP, ‘Silence In The Snow‘.  TRIVIUM will return with a new album this fall, with more details to be announced in the coming weeks. Matt Heafy and co’s new single sounds heavy, furiously fast and the usual groovy that the band carries along with it as a trademark. 

In the meantime, the Orlando, Florida-based band will spend this August lighting up Europe, starting tomorrow which includes appearances at such hard rock and metal festivals as Germany’s Wacken Open Air, Austria’s Jolly Roger Festival, Poland’s Woodstock Festival and more along with headline dates featuring support from Obituary and Bury Tomorrow (See attached itinerary). FINAL DRIVE just announced a new string of August tour dates accompanied by Shawshank Redeemed and Shinebright on select shows. Kicking off August 11th, FINAL DRIVE will join forces with Letters From The Fire for an anticipated St. Louis performance at The Firebird.
