Especially when, its none other than Greek titans SEPTICFLESH, yes they are letting the fans take an early bite out of the cake before the party even begins. SEPTICFLESH‘s upcoming new album ‘Codex Omega‘ which in fact releases tomorrow via Season Of Mist on September 1 is available for an early stream in its entirety. So stop whatever the fuck you are doing and hop on to the gigantic sonic cruise as the band prepares to release its tenth album and add more epic-ness to their entire catalogue.
Sometimes the greatest finds in music are the ones you just stumble across on accident. Obese is an amazing groove-filled stoner rock band from the Netherlands. Let me assure you, the only thing fat about this band is the groove. They have the sort of sound that has to be appreciated stoned with your favorite supply of green from weed-crew. Roll up, get comfortable and enjoy the music. I promise you that you will enjoy the music. I mean, I think I would appreciate smoking some of my favorite herb in any form when listening to them. Maybe lighting up some weed in a glow in the dark bong could let me enjoy the vibe of their music better, in complete darkness. Either way, Obese is now definitely on my ‘stoner’ playlist. In 2015 Obese released ‘Kali Yuma’ and when I stumbled upon the album I couldn’t stop listening to it. The album made # 7 on my personal best albums of 2015. (read here). Northern Californian death metal quartet APOTHESARY are back with another round of tour dates starting this October in support of their recent album ‘Accept Loss Forever‘, released earlier this summer on M-Theory Audio. Joining them on tour will be heavy/thrash group GREEN DEATH, from Des Moines, Iowa, who will promote their all new EP ‘Pure Torture‘ – out now on EMP Label Group. Progressive Death Metal overlords from down under, NE OBLIVISCARIS just released fresh new dates for a North American tour spanning the entire month of November and extending into the first few days of December. Newly formed alternative rock band THE FELL, featuring Billy Sheehan (MR. BIG, THE WINERY DOGS), has announced North American dates for their Breakout Tour. Launching September 6 in Nashville, TN, the band will be hitting select venues in Michigan, New York, and into Canada.
