Swedish extreme tech-metal pioneers Meshuggah have announced a 2018 North American tour with special guests Code Orange and Toothgrinder. The 6-show tour will kick off at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, BC on January 23rd and will make stops in Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco before concluding at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on January 29th! Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday, December 8th at 1 PM EST, purchase here. GO PRIMITIVE’s New Music Video, ‘A Different Person’ Is The Fun You Need All Day!

Midlands four-piece GO PRIMITIVE have released the brand new video for ‘A Different Person’ the explosive second single taken from their forthcoming debut album, ‘Choices‘,out February 23rd 2018. 
 
The video sees our bewildered protagonist attending a seemingly standard job interview which descends into a surreal and chaotic adventure, as he is taunted by unwanted fantasies about the other potential candidates’ alter egos.
 
The track itself is an energised rock stomper layered with thunderous riffs and punchy beats entwined with melodic vocal lines and killer guitar solos. Fuelled with attitude, the band state, “’A Different Person’ is about someone showing their unfavourable true colours, shattering the belief of the kind of person you thought they were”.

POP EVIL have added dates to their Music Over Words Tour, which will serve as the official kickoff for their recently announced all-new, self-titled LP. Additionally, POP EVIL are confirmed for festival dates Carolina Rebellion on Friday, May 5th and Fort Rock on Sunday, April 29th.

Added tour dates on the Music Over Words Tour include stops in Des Moines (2/18) Omaha (2/20), Louisville (3/30), Chicago (4/5) and Columbus (4/7). The massive US tour kicks off on February 14th in Sault Ste. Marie, MI at the Kewadin Casino. The band will hit both sides of the U.S. coast before wrapping things up at The Fillmore in Detroit on April 6th. Band VIP goes on sale Tuesday at www.popevilvip.com. Now, the nu metal teenage trio are ready to break huge on the scene as they prepare to unleash their all new music video, “My Chains“. After years of media excitement, late-night TV appearances, and breakout sets at Coachella and Bonnaroo, the band’s debut album ‘Chaos‘ was finally released independently last year. Nashville based rock band Hogan’s Goat has released the Official Music Video for their single “Annie Off The Rails”. Originally premiered on Huffington Post, “Annie Off The Rails” is off of Hogan’s Goat’s self titled, debut album.

 

Hogan’s Goat tracks mud on your clean carpet. Located in Nashville, TN the band slithers in the swamps of Rock N’ Roll/Metal. A shotgun blast away from the big leagues, HG released their debut album in July of 2017. The band received 20+ reviews, all with high marks. America’s one of the festival giants are back and how! Carolina Rebellion 2018 line up has finally been revealed and we surely do have some great and big names hitting on the bill. The three day rock festival that serves it’s fans an unique experience and is definitely a must go festival if you’re an avid US festival fan. The new line up reads rock heavyweights and biggies like ALICE IN CHAINS, STONE SOUR, GODSMACK, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, BREAKING BENJAMIN, amidst many more giants in the rock industry and also upcoming bands. Known for his work with ROB ZOMBIE, the band will out on the road performing on over fourty different dates and cities. Touring in support of his upcoming live album, ‘It’s Alive‘, which is scheduled to come out on January 25th as the first live album of the creatures. I am sure you all have seen those crazy ass PANTERA home videos, where Dime and others in the band would do loads of silly stuff and make fun of each other, and it was hilarious and awesome for a normal fan to just be able to witness what actually happened in the PANTERA camp. Sometimes Dime would end up dead drunk in the videos pulling pranks on his band mates, Phil would join in on the fun and all that jazz. But you ever wondered who the man behind all these captured memories are? Sure, you’ve seen him a thousand times in interviews and on the internet. He is none other than the band’s official videographer and roadie Bobby Tongs. And yeah Bobby would not survive the Dime and Co.’s stupid pranks too!

Hey there! Today we are premiering the debut album, ‘Coalesce‘ by NYC/London-based, prog/alt metal project, ASCENDING DAWN. The record releases tomorrow i.e. on the 1st of December and we thought we’d let you a good chance to take a sneak peak into the album before it officially releases and hits your nearest record stores. So, ASCENDING DAWN is a progressive metal project spearheaded by the multi talented Marlain Angelides. She has successfully planted her feet in every endeavour she has chosen and emerged victorious, some of her accolades are she’s a graduate of London’s Royal Academy of Music, previous vocalist of a top-charting Greek pop band, Hi-5, West End performer, representative of Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest, and background vocalist for world-touring acts. She is also the current front-woman of the all-girls Led Zeppelin band, LEZ ZEPPELIN, showcasing her wide range of vocal talents that drive the heavy yet melodic sound of Ascending Dawn.That is some major feathers on her hat!

ASCENDING DAWN comprises of members who met each other coincidentally from several other projects. The band members are Marlain Angelides, Owen Rees, Mark Weatherly and Jen “Connie” Fletcher. Within three weeks all the vocal lines and lyrics to ‘Coalesce‘ were written and production began. ‘Coalesce‘ was mixed and mastered by Jochem Jacobs (ex-TEXTURES) at Split Second Sound in Amsterdam. Connie left the project, as she left to go home to Australia but remains a friend and major contributor to the debut album’s mix of metal, prog and melodic hard rock. Rees and Weatherley remain in London, contributing their writing and production of Ascending Dawn from afar as Angelides paves the way in the US.
