Hi there, I'm Wessel and I'm from Holland. From the moment I could hear I loved music and everything about it. You will see me either long boarding or doing something regarding music. Feel free to hit me up any time to talk about music. Hopefully you found my review interesting and I will see you soon!

Bell Witch is a Seattle based duo act that are one of the few bands to own such an unique style that words can barely describe it. Their latest album ‘Mirror Reaper’ has been out since October 20th 2017 by Profound Lore Records and I am still amazed by how incredicle this piece of art is. Earlier releases ‘Longing’, ‘Four Phantoms’ & ‘Bell Witch Demo 2011’ were out of this damned world but with ‘Mirror Reaper’ they have really accomplished something that I almost feel unworthy of. But without wasting anymore time let’s get right into it.
Cane Hill is finally back after roughly 2 years since the release of ‘Smile’ which has always been my number 1 nu-metal record but after listening to the just released album ‘Too far Gone’ I am not so sure anymore. It has been released today, 19th of January, via Rise Records and it is even more insane and chaotic as before. But we can’t forget about the stellar EP ‘Cane Hill’ which features some of their greatest hits such as ”Time Bomb”, ”Screwtape” and ”Oxblood”. So with that being said, let’s get right into the mix!

This month’s State is Nebraska!
Coming all the way from Nebraska is the 2 piece instrumental doom metal act Rift. With just 2 complete studio records and 1 live record they make it seem so easy to write and produce 3 stellar pieces in a row!
After the late 2017 release of ‘Parasitic Devourment’ came out I was instantly hooked with the oh so brutal waves which Catatonic Profanation brings but after hearing his up and coming record ‘Euphoric Dismemberment’ I was totally stunned. Check out why!
2017 has been a crazy year for me personally but there were always 10 records that kept me going and those are the 9 above excluding ‘Wrong One To Fuck With’ by death metal machine Dying Fetus. So sit back, relax and enjoy the show!
Deathcore giants A Night In Texas are finally back and about to destroy every little bit of humanity that is left with their second album ‘Global Slaughter’ which is self released on the 11th of December. Luckily for us the entire record is on their official youtube page for our enjoyment so get right in!
The Contortionist is back with 2 huge North American tours that will both kick off beginning next year, first they will be the supporting band next to Big Story of The Stories We Tell Ourselves North American tour with as headlining act Nothing More and on the 4th of March they will be headlining their own North American tour with special guests Silent Planet, Skyharbor & Strawberry Girls!
